Red Roof Inn Cortland
3.7/5101 Reviews
For some reason the hotels in the Cortland area are very expensive. In comparison, the Red Roof Inn is a deal. Do note the property is in transition as it is being updated. Still, the rooms, though simple, are clean and orderly. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Coffee in the room and at the front desk -- front desk coffee is to be preferred. No other food at the moment. Parking is right next to the motel/hotel, though it is a bit dark. The Inn is located right off of I81, and on the edge of town though very close to the center of the city. Plenty of restaurants nearby. This is a basic but good property, especially given the rate. The staff sparkle. Would stay again. If you need a basic place to stay in Cortland, and don't want to spend a fortune, this is the place.

The room was aesthetically pleasing…very tasteful... nothing tacky... clean... and a most comfortable bed... all at an affordable rate...Plus the night and morning staff were very accommodating... Right off of Route 81, this is great place to crash after a long day on the road.... Highly recommend...

The breakfast is very simple, it is available until 9 o'clock, there is a parking lot, it is basically a night here. Check-in and check-out is very quick, with a total of two floors and no lift.
