Apartamentos Tinerfe Garden

This is the third time to these apartments. We had apartment 32. On arrival there was a foul smell in the rooms. We reported it to reception, a maintenance man arrived and fixed things in the shower room, kitchen and bizarrely did something in the wardrobe! The smell subsided but came back a few days later but not as strong. Again we reported this and it was dealt with. We had a two bedroom apartment. Two wardrobes , one in the lounge. Kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge freezer, oven in kitchen with crockery , glasses and cutlery. Tv in lounge choice of channels and radio. Safe is extra charge. Towels and bedding changed every two days. Apartments are close to supermarkets , bars , restaurants and shops. Beach is down hill but not too far away with more shops and restaurants. Apartment was a bit dated , shelves not level but water was always hot and shower powerful. Pool has plenty of sun beds and a snack bar. Worth looking at for the price and central position.

I’m unsure why this restaurant doesn’t have its own review site but it is worth a visit for its large and well priced menu. Portions are also large and all the food we had was delicious. This was our second visit here and we would definitely come again. Excellent service with a reasonable bill to finish.

Unpretentious Pizzeria and BBQ restaurant located on main road next to apartment complex. Excellent service, very good food, nice local wine plus great cocktails, and excellent value for money. Highly recommended, and we will dine here again on our next trip to Adeje.

I have stayed at these apartments 3 times over the last 20 years, the room we had this time number 95, 5 minute walk uphill from reception, bit of a chore,the room hasn’t changed, very dated and beds not comfortable headboard attached to the wall and bed moves around well worn mattresses, this is a proper 2 star complex, the pool is heated very nice, the pool bar staff great and always good music to listen to whilst lazing in the sun, you can get a burger and a massive bowl of chip for 4-50,The restaurant on site is beautiful, 13.50 for sirloin steak and trimmings, great selection and only 2 euro a pint, the location is brilliant bus stops close by, 10 minute walk to the beach, there is everything you need really close to the complex, would definitely go again.please put some comfortable chairs in living room, I had to sit on a plastic outdoor chair for two weeks because the sofa was dated and not comfy at all!, the cleaning lady came every 2 days lovely lady.

For a budget hotel and one of the cheapest you can find, within walking distance to the main bus station, Adeje Americas and a stones throw from the bars and restaurants, this was an ideal place to stay for the 4 nights I had booked. I travelled solo and originally booked a twin room (bedroom and bathroom). I then tried to upgrade as i read reviews saying these rooms were in the carpark which i didnt fancy. This was made difficult through *********** and the price the hotel said I could upgrade for was more expensive than what was showing on ***********. (this was because initial discounts get added when you do a new booking through *********** and these could not be added to upgrades, makes sense). I arrived at the hotel around 10pm, strange reception as its in the restaurant and excursions booking area, but all of the staff I encountered were lovely and very helpful. They could see i had tried to change my room and I explained why I wouldn't pay the difference in price and showed how it was cheaper on ***********. the lady rang the manager and my room was upgraded for free that night and I was told I may have to move in the morning. Luckily enough I got to keep the upgraded room for my entire stay which was very generous of them. Just so happened I ended up with the biggest room they have, two bedrooms, bathroom, living area, kitchen, outdoor balcony with loungers and barbecue and a spiral staircase case up to a private sun terrace with loungers! The apartment was basic and could benefit from modernising but it was clean, sheets and towels changed half way through my stay, and the terrace was lovely. My only gripe would be no air con and you had to pay extra for a fan. It was 38 degrees when I stayed which made sleeping a little difficult. The rooms aren't very sound proof either and you do often get small groups of spanish travel down for a coastal break who can be rather loud, but I had no problems. They were always quiet around 11pm and I have always slept with ear plugs anyway so I had no issues at all. WiFi is free and worked well. Code from reception. Need a different one for each device. Pool was clean and large enough. Not massively deep but shoulder depth in tye deep end, fine for swimming. Plenty of loungers though umbrellas a little sparse. I only had one drink from the bar so cannot comment on food or drink. The restaurant downstairs was closed during my stay which was a shame, but you're spoilt for choice when staying in adeje anyway so no problem. On my last day, checked out before 12 and I placed my bag in the luggage room and had a day at the beach as my flight wasn't until 9pm. Always a little apprehensive as anyone can get the key but no one else had used it that day and my stuff was fine. I then used the shower facilities before going to the airport. Key collected from reception and swipe card to get back into the resort. Previous reviews suggested the shower are in a dire state, to the point that I actually ask

Reception and check in was really straight forward and easy. The hotel/ apartment are all mixed and very different. We were initially assigned room 3. Absolutely awful. Thick mould on the tiles, ceiling and walls of the bathroom, smell of damp throughout and to old slate beds that were well past their sell by date. The bathroom door was warped and rotten. Complained to reception, initially nothing they could do. Spoke to a different receptionist and was only offered an upgrade to a suite at an additional cost of €60. That said it was worth every penny to get out of the mould infested room. The suite, while clean and modern, was unfinished. The fire alarm and smoke detector were not connected, and the fridge freezer was still wrapped and switched off. A really disappointing visit considered the largely positive reviews. Based on this week away, I would not recommend a visit.

Just recently stayed here December 2023 , in a great location various shops bars bus stops surrounding the hotel, staff were great , smiley and attentive. The hotel resteraunt is also worth a try I tried the half roast chicken and the steak and on both occasions were very good value for money (€10 euro for chicken 15 € for steak) which is a little bit less than the surrounding bars and restaurants they also do local dorada draught beer for 2 euros a pint, various iced coffees and a good cocktail menu. Again for the price you will pay you can't be disappointed. Verry good overall service I will be returning

Have to say staff at Tinerfe Garfens are brilliant but certain staff at the restaurant are miserable never want to make an effort Erica, Janet and Alberto are the best ones there can’t do enough for you always have a smile on their face Daisy, Maria and Giro who I am shocked by are there slagging off Erica one of the best workers in Tinerfe restaurant along with Janet and Alberto

We booked a Holiday with Sunshine Holidays to go to Tenerife and stay at Tinerfe Garden. When we arrived at our apartment in the evening, we were shocked to see builders working on the row of apartments we were staying in and building materials right outside the accommodation. Obviously noise from building work is not what we wanted on holiday. Once inside the apartment it was plain to see why building work was required. The apartment we had been given was well past its useable life. The cooker was in a dangerous condition as it was loose and the front of the worktop was just about to fall off. The fridge door had been ‘repaired’ with tape. The headboards to the beds were not attached to anything but just put in the gap between bed and wall. The light fitting in the bathroom was rusty and there were numerous other faults within the apartment requiring attention. We complained to the receptionist who said we could be moved to another apartment in the same row the following day, however as it was still subject to the builders work, there seemed little point in that. Our only other option was to wait until Monday (we had arrived on Friday) to see what other accommodation the manager could offer. We had to put up with the accommodation until then, which meant we were unable to use the cooking facilities. We had specifically booked self catering due to having medical dietary requirements. We did get moved into other accommodation on the Monday which was better but still in a very tired condition. If we had known this hotel was in such a poor state of repair, we would have booked elsewhere. Sunshine Holidays should be checking that the accommodation matches what they show it to be on their website. Our two star review is mainly due to the second apartment we were given, in our opinion the first apartment would not even rate as one star.
