Read the summary that La Colina has in TripAdvisor. Pretty much sums up the hotel. However, what it leaves out are the wonderful amazing people who run this place. They treat you like family. A huge thanks to the staff for making our stay so memorable. You embraced our family into yours and we will not soon forget. Also -Frederico is a walking encyclopedia on Bogota. Anything you need or want- just ask him. He saved us a lot of time being stuck in the Worst traffic in South America. The art collection is truly incredible. The food is also outstanding. The catch of the day with passion fruit sauce is excellent. Also the breakfast leaves some 5 star hotels to shame. The property is beautiful. Great place to just come and escape the bustle of Bogota. We will definitely be back.

I went to La Colina where they hosted a wedding ceremony for my brother. It was such a fantastic time! The food is great and the hotel rooms are very homie and unique. The owner also speaks very good English and Spanish. Would recommend if you want a more homey modern hotel stay with amazing food in Colombia Bogotá!

The hotel was amazing felt very homey and the staff there were very welcoming and speak English also. The rooms were very clean comfortable, having the cabin feeling great authentic Colombian food. Great at helping plan events(weddings/birthdays) from anywhere around the world

La Colina is a welcome oasis of peace and quiet in the hills of the crazy city of Bogota. The host Fernando provided us with helpful tips for visits and excursions. The food served at La Colina is heavenly, breakfasts and dinners. The rooms are decorated with pieces of contemporary art, and the cottage contains over 500 of them, almost turning the place into a museum. We highly recommend La Colina when visiting Bogota, if you want to escape the city's crazy hustle and bustle.

A lovely respite from the busy city. La Colina is an artists dream. Everywhere you look there is enchanting and provoking art. The hosts are wonderful people. They travel the world seeking out delicious foods to bring home to the kitchen. Our dinner snd breakfast were most satisfying. Thank you Frederico for sharing this beautiful place withus.

La Colina was the best place to stay at the end of a month in Colombia. It is very cosy, quiet and filled with unusual objects and art, with great views over Bogota. We only stayed one night but wish it has been more. We had snacks, dinner and breakfast there and they were all very tasty and made in the fabulous open kitchen. It was great to have a hot shower and very comfortable beds after backpacking across the country. Although a little way out of the centre, the surrounding area looked interesting and it didn't take long to get to the main places of interest by taxi.

Excellent food. Excellent accomodations. Excellent Hospitality. Excellent staff. what else can you expect from a unique & special hotel? Highly recommended to all local & international tourism in Bogota. I have been in the best chains of hotels worldwide, and this one is above all of them.

Very pleased with the overall experiences with my First time visiting for a family breakfast: - Reservation confirmed expeditiously - welcome greeting very early in the morning while I was still sleepy from a red eye flight - outstanding food prepared to our personalized preferences by kind Tamara - every room and area has a historic background masterfully explained by property manager Federico Ruiz. - Very appropriate pricing. It was a pleasure to tip the staff. In summary, my first visit but certainly not my last!
