The grand lobby entrance matches the imposing structure from the 1930’s. The staff were very attentive when we checked in yesterday. Our room on the first floor was terrible! Small and poky and awful bathroom. No good! I went to the reception and voiced my complaint to the front of house manager, a lovely, accommodating young lady. She was very apologetic and asked us to have a look at another room on the same floor. AMAZING! Probably 4 times the size of our first room. Really grand and a lovely, large bathroom. Thank you! We’ve read plenty of bad reviews of this Hotel and judging by our first room I can understand those reviews. The management, however, turned things around right away and made our stay memorable. If your not happy, just talk to them!

Clean and spacious rooms. Location is a 5/10 mins walk from city centre. Lovely coffee shop a few doors down. Don't think Da Lat/this hotel gets a lot of English speaking tourists and communicating with staff was difficult. Don't bother paying for breakfast. It's expensive and you get one option - a tasteless Pho (and in Vietnam if you can't get Pho right then that is troubling). Hotel also doesn't provide complimentary bottled water but shops across the road sell big bottles at reasonable prices. Bed moves a lot and we constantly had to keep rearranging. Aircon is not built into room but we were given a portable unit that works. Basic hotel - get what you pay for.

The rooms are very uniquely arranged, the location is a bit hard to find, and it was raining and cooling that day, and the host came to pick us up. The host was very nice, one didn't speak English and the other could speak English. We sat in the living room and talked a lot. I will choose to stay here next time.

This is a fabulous place, so beautiful and creative. The rooms are a blast to stay in if you pick one of the “crazy rooms” . We stayed in the Ant house. It was room enough for couple and quite comfortable considering the unusual design. It was clean and well cared for the 4 days we stayed. There will be tourists swarming around all day which actually adds to the fun. You can easily shut the world out with well placed curtains over all the unusual windows and have all the privacy you want, but understand It will be noisy at times . In the evening a staff lit a fire in our fireplace which took out the chill and dampness. The staff are all so lovely and helpful, smiling and proud of this unique work of art. DaLat is a vibrant city and this fun spot added more to our visit.

Chuong (Bell) Hotel, - Located in an alley on Ha Huy Tap street, ward 3, Dalat city, a convenient location when traveling - close to the center. This hotel is located the same path (alley No. 42, Ha Huy Tap street) with Huong Moc hotel. The alley is a steep slope quite dangerous if not carefull. - The hotel is quite small with only 2 floors (basement) with no more than 5 rooms (quite small compared to the hotel criteria, in return, the equipment in the room is modern and relatively good). - Our room is at the bottom (2nd basement), the room is spacious, clean and has bright windows. However, because it is at the bottom, I feel worried like a closed space. The water pressure is quite strong and hot water is also very fast. - Young, friendly and cute receptionist.
