We stayed at this hotel for a night during our trip to Dali. The hotel was new and very instagrammable. We were checked in to a room with no view despite paying for a sea-view room, but this was resolved by the staff by offering us an available sea-view room. The hotel staff were extremely attentive. Kudos to 小俊, our personal butler, who provided a lot of information over WeChat and was very prompt with his responses. They provided a variety of snacks, fruits and drinks and even a bowl of “goodnight sweet soup” each at night. Breakfast was mainly Chinese but was delicious!
The room was large and clean and offered a good view of Erhai. Room amenities were well-stocked and room facilities were top notch - the room was equipped with smart home technology and there was also a projector for home entertainment.
The only downside to this hotel is its location (Wenbi Village), which is far away from the main sightseeing spot in Erhai (S湾) and from the train station. The village is, however, tranquil and peaceful. Great stay overall!
