Iztuzu Apart & Villas

We stayed in a newish studio/bungalow which was modern, compact and clean. Comfy bed but with limited storage. Only a single wardrobe and one bedside cabinet. Hob, fridge and kettle, one saucepan and basic utensils. No dustpan and brush or cleaning equipment. No hooks to hang towels etc. Patio under trees. Bedding and sheets changed twice in 17 days. No food available and no bar. If you want a drink you list what you've had in a book. Beer not always available. Nearest supermarket is a few mins away which was ok for drinks but didn't sell much else. Better one in opposite direction about 8/10 mins. Swimming pools ok but with no shallow end. Enough sunbeds while we were there, but it was quiet, not many guests. The walk into town takes approx 15 mins. There are various ways you could go, but beware the main drag can be very busy and there are no pavements. At night it could be very scary as it's the main road to Iztuzu and some cars and bikes were passing very close especially as the lighting is poor and you could not be seen coming around bends. This is the one thing that has put us off staying again.

The family that run the apartment are lovely and very helpful regarding directions, booking taxis. The pool area is beautiful, there are two pools and a small bar where you help yourself to drinks and write down what you have a pay later. The apartment that we had was in need of an upgrade. As it is a self catering holiday the kitchen wasn't catered for cooking. There was no toaster or grill, only one wooden spoon to do your cooking with and the kitchen cupboards were so high that the plates on the top shelf were very difficult to reach. There wasn't any cleaning equipment to be able to sweep up or clean worktops. There is air-conditioning but only in the bedroom which cost us £10 a night and didn't always work. Although the bed was comfortable there weren't any drawers so we had to leave clothes in our suitcases, a small chest of drawers would have been helpful. Also the apartment was only cleaned once on the day before we left and towels and bath mat weren't changed until then. The Internet was very poor and we had to lean over the balcony to get a very slow connection which was highly frustrating. There wasn't a poolside restaurant that was advertised and apparently people that we spoke to that had stayed there several times and said that they haven't ever had food there. It's a shame that it didn't live up to our expectations but I wish them all the best and with a bit of attention to detail this could be a lovely place to stay.

We booked a 2 bed apartment for the week yet when we arrived we were put into a small "bungalow" as our room was not available until 13.30pm the next day ( booked in nov 22!). If you stay here and are looking to book into a studio or bungalow be aware it's literally one small room with a small bathroom - very little storage other than a tiny wardrobe no drawers, nowhere to hang stuff even in the bathroom. However the bathroom and the kitchen items were all modern. The 2 bed apartment was a good size but needed some TLC, the furniture, kitchen and bathroom were all older and need to be updated. The toilet was separate to the bathroom down the opposite end of the corridor. The beds are not comfortable at all. The balconies were good but again need some tidying up. There was no cleaning or sheet change the time we were there and no cleaning items in the apartment for you to even sweep up or wash dishes. Be aware you will be charged for air con @ £15.00 a day, the air con is only in the bedrooms. The complex itself is lovely, pools were decent sized and warm. A nice distance to walk into the centre about 10mins so not far at all. The pool bar was run on a honesty box type situation - you take a beer right your name in the book pay on departure 100TRY for a beer apparently ( 44try in the supermarket 5 mins away) we didn't use but there were people complaining it was empty every day. This complex could be great if they did some upgrades to the interiors and beds.

Two lovely warm clean pools. Self catering bungalow, good size but lacking a tv which other rooms do have. Basic cooking facilities, could do with a toaster or a grill. Only cleaned twice in 2 weeks though and air con is a bit steep at £10 per day but it is needed. BUT Derya and her family are lovely, not to mention the adorable Lucky the dog. Very trusting with an honesty book for drinks by the pool. Currently no food at all served, not sure if this is a permanent thing. Despite the points raised above, would stay again in a heartbeat and already looking for next year. Thank you Derya

Me and my little boy spent 10 nights here and it was a wonderful stay. The family that run it are so friendly, the room was very spacious and the pool areas were very clean. My only negative points are that for self catering it is so basic, no cooking facility except for a hob, I think a counter top cooker and a toaster would have been a good addition. I don't think the rooms are cleaned enough, ours was cleaned once in a 10 night stay which didn't bother me too much but they could do with emptying bins more. I didn't realise the air con was charged at £10 a night which was a surprise and ours didn't work properly for 3 nights as it kept leaking until they fixed it, I paid up front for the air con so was a bit annoying I paid for something I couldn't make full use of. However despite the negatives I would stay here again.

We traveled with EasyJet and had a great flight and a short transfer to the apartments, when we arrived we were told that we have been upgraded from the two bedroom apartment we had booked and given a three bedroom villa with its own pool. The villa was lovely and having its own pool was a bonus. Aircon was not included but you can pay for this at £15 a night which is a bit step but you need it. There were no TV’s in villa of which we missed even if it was for a bit of background noise. And the Wi-Fi is non existent but people are so lovely and we’re always popping round to see if we needed anything and we could always use all of the pools and bars at the apartments. This is a really picturesque and peaceful place to stay and will differently go back, thanks for a great holiday.

Amazing. Had fantastic time. Apartments were lovely. Sutan and Denice amazing. Would highly recommend. Nothing was too much trouble. Cannot wait to go back Walk to town lovely. Amazing views. Breakfast was lovely

Avoid! Dated and tired. We stayed in the two bedroom villa, I use the term loosely! Stone headboard, dangerous in my view, broken shower, broken lamp shade, minimal crockery and only 2 towels were allowed! Air conditioning an extra £13.00 per day the units were filthy and could make some poor unsuspecting person ill! Photos of the place are not current, we checked out early and stayed somewhere else. Have complained to Thomas cook whilst at the resort and since we got home. Family may be lovely but accommodation isn’t! Much nicer places to stay in Dalyan

Hi all, i stayed at the Iztuzu Villa and apartments, i left a jbl speaker and head phones and messaged them when i returned, i explained my friend could collect them and they agreed. Today i have asked if i could collect them on my next visit. Only to be told they have binned them. I am not the smartest cookie.. but i doubt anyone would bin expensive items like these. I have gave the owners daughter many chances to return them but she has sent me a picture of some cheap headphones ive never seen. Reply from derya- that my speaker is broken… ‍️ I am really really sickened by this! Please be careful.
