Hotel Holiday Calbis

We have visited Holiday Calbis, for over 12 years now and we are never disappointed. We are welcomed as if we were family. We have been in June and September but no matter when you go you will fall in love with Calbis just as we did. We call it "our happy place". The minute you walk through the door you just relax. You will receive a warm, friendly welcome by either Ebru, Zeliha or if later at night Aygun. Every member of staff are so friendly. The rooms are very comfortable all having been refurbished in the last few years. More rooms have also been built. But despite extra rooms Calbis still has the ambience of a quiet, peaceful space to relax and enjoy your holiday. The gardens are an oasis of greenery and well attended and kept very tidy. There are now 4 pools, all with plenty sunbeams. The location is perfect, either walk down the riverside into the town or the road, which is perfectly safe as it is an access road so very few cars. Once you have visited Calbis you will be remembered on future visits. The breakfasts have a great choice, cold meats, yogurt, omelettes, pancakes, all freshly cooked. Lunches can be bought in the bar/dining area and again a great choice. Nothing is too much trouble for the Calbis Staff. If you have never been, please visit, you will not regret it...we haven't.

Fantastic hotel in a lovely small resort. Our room was very clean and comfortable with a good bathroom and always had plenty of hot water. There was a fridge, and tea/ coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast was included which was a very nice buffet style Turkish breakfast. There were 3 swimming pools within the grounds and a 4th was almost complete,all of which were kept immaculately with plenty of sunbeds,tables and chairs etc. We spent most of our time at the main pool which is beautiful. All the public areas including the bar are really nice and are extremely clean and tidy at all times. Had a lovely time here and hope to return in the future.

Holiday Calbis is tha best hotel in dalyan friendly Peaceful only a 5min walk to town .we have been to this hotel twice a year for many years when possible and will be back in may and if possible sept .Gokman you are the best and your staff are always happy and willing to go that extra mile . We visited Holiday Calbis Hotel in May for 2 weeks and had an amazing time! We had a room which overlooked the main pool which was kept spotlessly clean by our chambermaid who was always friendly and greeted us with a smile every day. The room had s fridge, kettle, hairdryer and we experienced no issues with the room at all. The main pool area was very relaxing, and we never had an issue getting a lounger each day - we liked that no music was playing during the day as we really enjoyed chilling in the sun with our cocktails listening to the birds and sound of the pool. Yes, there was some building work going on but it wasn't constant and the new buildings look great! We frequented the bar fairly often and have to say Nizam and Ruzaliia looked after us very well. They were both so attentive, cheery and always happy to make you your favourite drink. The breakfast was good with a good selection of turkish options, cereal, fruit and salad, and someone available to make omlettes, fried eggs should you desire. All colleagues around the breakfast area were pleasant and helpful. The hotel is a 10/15 min walk to the centre which offers a range of restaurants, bars and shops. There is a complimentary bus that takes you there at 7pm should you wish to get there quicker. Overall we had a great, relaxing holiday at Calbis and felt it was really good value for money! We will be back again no doubt!

Just back from a week at this hotel. We paid extra for a deluxe room with pool view. Arrived about 3am and we were taken to a brand new room which looked more like a semi detached bungalow! First guests to use it. Bathroom was great, with large walk in shower. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Also plenty of storage space, a fridge, and excellent air conditioning. Breakfast is more than adequate, with a lovely lady making fresh omelettes or fried eggs. All the staff at this hotel are friendly and helpful, and the whole place has a nice vibe. Everything is spotless, and the swimming pools and gardens are beautiful. The hotel is a bit out of town, although it's really only about 15 minutes walk. There's a complimentary bus takes you into town at 7pm each night, and a taxi back is only about 60 lira. Now for the minor negative comments. So far, there is no path between the pool and the new rooms, just a grass area which can be a bit muddy if sprinklers have been on. Felt guilty having big footprints either on terrace or at the pool! There are plenty of electric sockets in the room for hairdryer/straighteners etc. However, no mirror in the bedroom. If, like me, you find having hairdryer in bathroom pretty useless, this is quite an inconvenience. I much prefer to sit in the comfort of the bedroom to dry hair/do make up etc. Talking of which, there are no chairs in the bedroom. We just brought in the ones from terrace when needed. I did ask at reception about a mirror, but was politely told "we have mirrors in the bathrooms, not the bedrooms". (I bought a small one in a supermarket)! Overall a fabulous holiday, and despite these minor inconveniences, we're already thinking about returning later in the year.

Great stay at the Calbis recently, slightly marred by a 2am text from a Tui rep after an all day travelling but this was not the fault of the hotel. Lack of information at the hotel for things like operating the room safe etc 4 pools were brilliant with a quiet one for geriatrics! Within easy walk to town centre, breakfast was ok ish

Stayed for another 2 weeks in September - love the beautiful gardens , rooms as usual spotlessly clean , stayed in C block although slightly smaller rooms than the other blocks it’s our favourite as so quiet with really great bathrooms , all staff are wonderful , pools immaculate , breakfasts the best in Dalyan but please bear in mind you are in Turkey and not Benidorm- too many complaining about breakfast but Dalyan is a a small resort and you will not get a better hotel breakfast anywhere in Dalyan x

Like many hotels in Turkey, Holiday Calbis has many “regular” customers who return year after year. The place has many good attributes eg lovely gardens and a choice of pools, but for me that didn’t make it somewhere I enjoyed or would return to. Once you get past reception, for me there was a lack of the Turkish hospitality and welcome I’m used to. Our standard rooms was very basic and impractically designed (eg I couldn’t reach the wardrobe shelf and another was blocked by the built-in bedside table; the patio area was gross. Issues with the electrics weren’t resolved despite our complaints: wires hanging out of the wall, extractor fan and charging points not working and the key slot temperamental. Not for me.

We have stayed at Holiday Calbis many times and this year we holidayed there with our grandson, celebrating his first birthday in style. We were so delighted to stay in a family room in the new building, the view from the balcony of the complex and surrounding mountains is stunning, the grounds are kept to a beautiful standard and all the staff are so welcoming. There are boat trips bookable through the hotel with the fabulous Captain Ali now a family friend to many. We have no hesitation in recommending Holiday Calbis as the first choice top notch accommodation in Dalyan.
