We hebben hier één nacht verbleven na last minute boeken op een drukke dag. Het onthaal was afstandelijk en administratief. Kamer hadden we al betaald via een site, maar nu ook moesten we dadelijk het ontbijt betalen. Wat wij gewoonlijk doen bij het uitchecken. Alles verliep zonder veel uitleg. We sliepen in een nieuwe vleugel van het hotel dat toch nog wat afwerking nodig heeft. Losse tegels in de gang, blote betonmuren. Onze kamer was er één met zicht op tuin. De tuin bestond uit een lege grote gang met in het midden een betonpad. De tuin is één groot klankgat als de andere gasten praten of honden blaffen; Gelukkig gebeurde dit enkel tijdens de namiddag. Er zijn wel stoeltjes om buiten te zitten, maar je zit wel vrij kort op mekaar dan. 's Nachts was het stil en de bedden, matrassen en kussens zijn goed zoals het hoort. Er was een koffiemachine aanwezig met 2 capsules per persoon. De badkamer met regendouche was zeer net en nieuw, al zag je daar ook in een hoek nog een spleet met isolatieschuim. Bij het ontbijt was er spek en ei, een groot assortiment koffiekoeken, geen spiegelei of zalm bv. Al bij al is dit een mooi hotel, maar voor de prijs die ze vragen mogen ze wel wat meer op de details letten. Het onthaal en ook bediening, beantwoorden van vragen tijdens het ontbijt was koel en afstandelijk. Voor de prijs die we betaalden hadden we meer verwacht. Vermoedelijk gaan we hier niet meer terug.

Stay in cpuple to celebrate our 4 years, in this very beautiful hotel. Super well placed in a very quiet place and only 800m from the beach (10min walk following a magnificent open street) Very hearty lunch, we absolutely enjoyed everything. Very good attendance, so very quiet at night. Sufficient space and modern room, modern bathroom too, maybe a little too small anyway Comfortable bed and mattress. We hear a little outside noise, surely a single glazing window. In short, if we come back to this magnificent city, we will surely choose this hotel again. Long live the Ibis chain, a sure value.
