The Manor - New Delhi

New Delhi|2.6km from Isa Khan's Tomb
I was to have a meeting in delhi and have been avoiding it as I truly do not like that city. However, since I had to go myself, I was on a lookout for a place that is not a tower hotel! I came across this boutique luxury hotel called The ***or and felt it just perfect also it was just 16 mins away from Connaught Place, where my meeting was scheduled. The cobble paths for cars, 12 room property in a quiet neighbourhood of Friends Colony was more than I could have ever imagined, it was beyond bang on. It was everything I wanted it to be. I reached at dinner time and Camillo’s is where V and I had an Italian meal. The salmon linguine was one of the best I’ve had. Eating happily under some heat and in the outdoor garden with the slight Delhi chill in the air. Room 2 was nice and spacious with a little veranda, it was on the Ground floor,,this signature room was fine but the shower cubicle is too tiny and needs to be spacious! The next night after my meeting I ate at Inja, their Indian - Japanese restaurant on the property. It’s an experience like no other. I’m blown away and everyone I know in Delhi or travelling there should eat here! Taste, texture, guidance and flavours full of goodness made me a total fan of the food and the crazy yummm cocktails! I think I had 3! I cannot stop raving about this deliciousness called Inja! If someone says Delhi to me now, this will be my preferred place! The ***or is quaint, charming and is made for me. See you’ll in March 2024 for a longer stay! A special shout out to: Supradeep - the mixologist who took us through the cocktail adventure! Akashdeep- very helpful and attentive! With an addictive smile and laugh! Neeraj Sharma, see you soon you are such a gracious ***ager and handles everything at the restaurants immaculately! Thank you!

India New Delhi Hostel Reviews: A Looking for Bed & Breakfast on Ctrip. I was attracted by Ji Ji's review and booked for 2 nights. I contacted the landlord from New Delhi Airport. The English was surprisingly good. There was no Indian accent. When I went to the store, I found that the landlord looked like a Chinese. It was originally a Naga from northeast India. The hotel is 3 storeys high and is renovated from its own house. There are 6 rooms in total, as well as a dining room and kitchen. Check-in is simple, the landlord also gave us an upgrade to the suite. The room decoration is very unique, and there are pigeons flying from time to time on the balcony. The beds are of good quality and very clean. The bathroom is super large, separated from wet and dry, with bathrobe and hair dryer, electric water heater, remember to open in advance, come back every day, the room is clean and very comfortable. Breakfast is very good, there are many choices, with English and Indian characteristics, you can order varieties and meal times the night before. The hotel has lunch and dinner, because we are afraid to go out in the evening. Our two-day dinner was eaten at the hotel. A set meal of 60-70 yuan was enough for two people. The taste is amazing. Both are Indian specialties. The urban area of New Delhi is messy. When I come back to this hotel every day, I feel like living in a modern society. I especially enjoy chatting with the landlord and other employees in the hotel. I feel like being a guest at a friend's house. Talk about location: The hotel is next to the Humayun Temple, within walking distance, and it is convenient to make a tricycle to India Gate for 200 rubles. This area is the wealthy area of New Delhi. The surrounding environment is very good (compared to the mess in the urban area). There are several gardens. There is also a local market and train station nearby. You can walk. A to sum up: Choosing this hotel was the most successful decision for my trip to India. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast options were plenty, the taste was delicious, the dinner was unique, and the price was reasonable; the staff were very polite and the service was particularly good, making me a master for a while ,Highly recommended. I stayed for 3 days and met many international friends. One of the Indian couples (forgot which state they came from) had 15 stays (2 years).

Stayed for about 1 week. The host, Ajay was SOOO helpful. Breakfast was delicious and always served hot, whenever we were ready for it. We made some comments about how we would like to try something different to eat so he had the cook change up the menu. All the food was great! I mentioned that I really like Papaya so he said ”We'll get you all the papaya you can eat!” ....and they did! The next morning I has my own bowl full of papaya. Ajay also gave us lots of suggestions about places to visit and the best times to visit each place. He arranged for our whole trip to the Taj Mahal--driver and guide--so we did not have to plan anything. The housing arrangements were very clean and neat. The bathrooms were very nice. He asked us if we wanted our rooms cleaned and fresh towels every day. He offers laundry service and ironing, which you pay for, but it is all well done. Ajay is a wonderful host and the other helpers at the house are also wonderful! He has a couple of dogs that are well behaved and do not go in the visitors rooms. You will have a very nice stay if you choose to stay at ”Eleven” in Delhi!

The original Anzhen Delhi, after changing the self-operated brand, the price is close to the people. Kerry Hill's classic work, the light and shadow effect of the corridor is very good, you can see the design inspiration of Tokyo Anzhen here. Fully equipped, very close to Humayun’s Tomb. For breakfast, let people forget to be in India.
