Baggot Court Townhouse

Very good experience.

This was by far the worst place we have ever stayed. If you are considering booking Baggot Guest Townhouse, be prepared for a miserable night's sleep. First, there is no elevator, meaning we had to lug four heavy suitcases up four exhausting flights of stairs. To keep the room comfortable, we had to leave the windows open, which unfortunately let in an overwhelming amount of street noise all night. To make matters worse, the interior is just as loud. The floors are extremely creaky, so you can hear every single person walking up and down the stairs. Because of this, and the lack of soundproofing between rooms, we got absolute zero sleep. The person in the room directly above us paced back and forth for hours, causing heavy thumping noises that kept us awake until 3:00 AM—only for them to quiet down briefly and start right back up again at 5:30 AM. We left exhausted and deeply disappointed. Skip this place and book somewhere with actual amenities and basic sound insulation.

Stayed here for one night. Great location,its on a quiet street. Very close to bars and restaurants on Baggot Street. You can hear room noise from next door so just to be conscious of your neighbours.

Pros: Location is excellent in a very accessible area (D2) to city center attractions and many options for dining and drinks. It's a 10-minute (or less) walk to both St. Stephen's Green and Merrion Square. There's a bus stop directly out front. We felt very safe walking to and from the hotel at all times of day. Staff were friendly and very helpful, especially in coordinating transportation to the airport, and we appreciated having a room on the ground floor. The hotel was very clean and well kept, and the shower had exceptional water pressure. We experienced no street noise and slept well! Cons: he room was very, very small, especially for three of us, with barely space for the three of us to navigate without bumping into each other. The beds were OK but not the most comfortable. There was very little storage/dresser space and even less horizontal space in the bathroom for cosmetics.

Irish breakfast good at 8 each day… location great for the aviva

staff lovely - breakfast nice - be sure to book parking, they have about 3 spaces which need to be booked in advance otherwise you have to find parking elsewhere ( they called their sister hotel about 1km away and I got sorted but otherwise you would need to sort it yourself). Small room and I would say pricey. Location good for Aviva.

Conveniently located. Check in staff were friendly and helpful. Room and en_suite very clean and a comfortable bed. Very good value and would recommend.

Very clean room. Front of house but windows fully deadened road sound.

Staff were very nice, rooms clean, and excellent location. It is an old building so the walls are thin. We had an unfortunate incident with the room next to us but the night manager was responsive and did his best, just not the restful Night sleep you need your first night in Dublin. Great breakfast, too.
