220 euro per night which is far too much for what you get. The room was minimum and a very basic set up. Paper cups, no glasses. No tissues, no hand soap, no water bottles. Mini bar empty. No welcome drink was offered, we had to ask for it. Dinner was mediocre. Soup was thin, tasteless maggi style with a stale bread roll and no butter. Service was arrogant and not professional. No complimentary water, no complimentary bread and butter. Main course took ages to arrive and the arrogant waiter never apologizes for the delay, only had a big mouth. Nobody asks for another drink. Nobody wishes an enjoyable meal. Very disappointing in all aspects.

It was amazing.Really felt comfortable around. The staff was really cooperative and the food was tasty.Looking forward to staying with you again!!!

The hotel was really buzzing … room ok and clean but the restaurant was not a pleasant experience Waiter was rude / abrupt and condescending The food was ok but expensive in comparison with others we have been to in Europe Think waiter was anti English or just tired !

Mooie kamer en goed ontbijt. Ons is echter bij reservering niet verteld dat het een 4* AZC is. Bij aankomst zitten de vluchtelingen te kamperen op grasveld bij ingang. Kinderen lopen over de gangen op de etages en spelen in de liften. ‘s avonds laat nog weggestuurd. Er loopt beveiliging maar doet niets. Trappenhuizen vol met vuil en uitgespuugde zonnebloem pitten.

Prima verblijf gehad! Doordat de andere beoordelingen aangeven dat veel asielzoekers aanwezig waren was ik vrij sceptisch! Maar dit viel enorm mee, geen overlast gehad en ook bijna geen asielzoekers gezien. Diegene die ik heb gezien waren enorm vriendelijk. Bovenal fijn verblijf gehad en vriendelijke medewerkers!

Het hotel is werkelijk prachtig. Mooie entree, vriendelijk personeel en heerlijk gegeten. Maar toen de lift open ging, viel onze mond open. De 1e zat vol gepropt met asiel zoekers. Allemaal op badslippers en blote voeten. De 2e lift ook vol met asiel zoekers met dekens en allemaal troep. Het rook enorm in de lift. Wij gingen mee en stopte op de 3e. Daar stond een hele menigte asielzoekers te wachten. Achteraf hoorde wij van personeel ,dat verdieping 3, 4 en 5 vol zitten. Heel erg vreemd, dat deze mensen de hele dag 2 liften in beslag nemen. Sorry, maar ons zie je niet meer bij vd Valk. Zowiezo is Duiven erg duur. Maar dan verwacht ik wel iets anders!!!

Kamer Prima Hotelbar Prima Drinken en het bittergarnituur was krokant en smakelijk Alle Personeel was aardig en klantvriendelijk Welness was Prima en een Super behandeling gehad in de Beauty op de viertiende. Restaurant misschien het oude concept van van der Valk zouden wij weer willen terugzien/terugbrengen dan krijg je waar voor je geld!! Bijvoorbeeld de appelmoes met de kers of een complete varkenhaas! Ontbijt was Perfect. Misschien de zilveren bakken waar de eieren etc inzitten dat er andere scharnieren in kunnen dat de deksel half open blijft staan als men er iets uitpakt!! Alleen let op!!! Het is een opvang voor statushouders of nareizigers. Hoe men het ook wil noemen. Wij zouden onze dochter daar niet laten werken. Wij voelde ons als betalende klant in ons zak gescheten. Ons was niks medegedeeld vanuit Van der Valk dat het een opvanghuis is. Zo jammer en teleurgsteld wij zullen niet meer kiezen voor de het exclusieve Van der Valk want dan kom bedrogen uit.
