Langham Hotel Eastbourne

Went to The Langham Hotel yesterday for Sunday Lunch, it was absolutely wonderful, the staff were very friendly and courteous, the service was first class and the food is brilliant, great choice of starters and then we had roast beef! The lunch yesterday was perfect, the beef was beautifully cooked and was really tender, there was a good choice of vegetables, including Cauliflower Cheese! it was great value for money.

Very comfortable hotel with charming staff and an exceptional restaurant. The building is very well maintained inside and out and there is great attention to detail. I personally would have preferred a duvet rather than a sheet and blanket but it has to be said that the latter is more hygienic which is appreciated as the standard of cleanliness is exemplary. Very suitable for someone with mobility issues, such as myself, in terms of access - and reception staff were very helpful when I booked my stay in terms of discussing which rooms would suit me. I hope to return!

I stayed at this hotel overnight to attend their Lunch Club function where they organise interesting speakers and also include a three course lunch. In this instance, the speaker was an actress from my youth. Not sure what to expect, I had a wonderful time and was made very welcome by management, staff and regulars. The speaker was very entertaining and made time for all. It was well worth travelling down to Eastbourne for what turned out to be a very enjoyable and well organised event. My single room was small but had a stunning sea view. The room was clean, warm and had everything I required plus a balcony. The staff were all friendly, polite and helpful throughout my stay. I believe it to be the Restaurant Manager, who made time to speak and sit me where I felt most comfortable for the event. I enjoyed sitting in their sun lounge for meals and in the bar area which contains many interesting photographs on the walls. The food was excellent and plentiful. The event itself clearly is a big draw for locals and everyone made me very welcome. The hotel is a short walk from the pier but was quiet at night. I pre-booked parking which is limited but again well organised. A huge thank you to all at the hotel which I understand is family run. I was advised by lunch guests this hotel is one of the best in Eastbourne. From my stay I can believe it. Thank you to all.

This was my first visit to the Langham. And from the moment I stepped in, the staff made me feel welcome and well looked after. The dinner bed and breakfast deal was incredibly good value. My food was delicious, flavoursome, fresh and well presented. The waiting staff were very lovely. My single room was basic, although had everything I needed. Including a bath tub. It could have been made slightly better if it was aired more often, as it was slightly stuffy, but I opened the window and all was well. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and came with a sea view. Beautiful. Perfect location and made to feel very welcome. Highly recommended. Thank you.

We come three times a year and have done for the last three years when we discovered this gem of a hotel, and will coming for many more years to come. We would never go anywhere else. Its home from home. The staff are amazing, caring attentive, the rooms are spotless and spacious. Mr Kirkby is a lovely man, always greets us and stops to talk when he sees us around the hotel. Every member of staff are well trained and so welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is amazing. We love the cocktail bar. The dinner menu is excellent. Great location, delightful staff, a comfortable room, spotlessly clean and an excellent breakfast. One of the most enjoyable hotel experiences we have had in recent memory. Thank you to all at the Langham for making our stay, brief as it was, a hugely enjoyable one

Well what can I say other than this is an excellent hotel to stay in. We live in Eastbourne but decided to make use of their winter special for our friends 70th. We ended up staying an extra night so we stayed for three nights. It is exceptionally clean, staff very hospitable, and the food is excellent. Would highly recommend to stay here. In my opinion this is the best hotel to stay in Eastbourne. The owner will also mingle with guests too and nothing is too much trouble.

Enjoyed a wonderful 2 night stay at The Langham hotel, Eastbourne, this week. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Beautiful well appointed bedroom with sea view. Excellent breakfast choices and dinner menus. How nice to find a hotel offering a separate Vegan dinner menu. Would throughly recommend a stay at The Langham.
