Unfortunately, the fruit plate we had booked on arrival was missing and was not delivered despite informing reception. What a pity... The afternoon buffet had already been cleared away at 4:45 p.m. on arrival and at 4:00 p.m. on the second day it was only very sp****ly stocked! I don't expect or know that from 4-star hotels. Service staff very friendly

Booked last minute winter sports in Ehrwald, suite in Der Grune Baum hotel. Arrival last week. Reception at the reception is simply bizarrely bad. No attention, here you have the key and good luck. No explanation, no welcome guest, nice to have you there, nothing like that! They have a restaurant, alla carte menu in the lobby, but they don't do that... only book extra for half board at €50PP per evening... don't you want this? Good luck in the center at a restaurant, they say. Breakfast is good, staff tries to ignore you on all sides, pushes for a coffee machine for their own use, poorly replenishes what is empty. Floorboards in the breakfast area are completely worn out, the floor is bending. Somewhere you think, I'm going to fall through that floor while you're grabbing food. During the stay, the reception is always unmanned. If you have any questions, you should do a scavenger hunt but someone. EXTREMELY bad and impersonal. It is not a hotel, it is a self-service concept. Seen several guests at many times during the week who were frustratedly looking for someone at the reception... Check out and pay the same, again a search for staff. Checkout is cold and chilly. No thanks, no nice trip home. They are not interested in the well-being of guests. Earlier in the week a guest had become unwell in the sauna, resulting in helicopter trauma. If you ask the owner afterwards, is the guest okay? Is everything OK. yeah, i don't know. She went to the hospital with the trauma, and will probably be fine. She shrugs her shoulders and walks away laughing. Sad hostess. Summary, never coming back to this hotel. A direct insult to other hoteliers who do their best to make guests feel welcome. Bad intention. The soul is gone from all the staff. The owners first. Stop it, do something else, or rent the **** out as apartments. It is no longer a hotel. An empty minibar in the suite, no coffee or tea makers, no information material, nothing at all... Are you going to the ice rink or swimming pool with your children, and have you received a guest card and discount coupon from your hotel, ehh I don't know anything... Where are you staying this holiday? The name of the hotel raised the eyebrows of the local lady. Sta, we have asked them several times to inform guests about this, but they do nothing with it. Fortunately, I received discounts at the swimming pool and ice rink for the children through the lady in question. What was good? Good parking, location in the center, room (suite) with 2 adults and two children fine at first glance. Cleaners deserve kudos, everything is sparkling clean every day. Our advice, find another hotel! We didn't know any better beforehand. We had read a similar review somewhere. It won't be summer, YES!

Wir waren im Mai übers Wochenende im Hotel Grüner Baum. Der erste Eindruck war sehr gut das Hotel ist wunderschön, die Einrichtung ist modern mit viel Holz, wirklich toll. Das Zimmer war standardmäßig eingerichtet und hat uns gut gefallen, bis wir die erste Nacht dort verbracht haben. Die Matratzen waren vollkommen durchgelegen., Ich habe keine Sekunde geschlafen, da ich in einer richtigen Kuhle lag. Es war schrecklich. Die Enttäuschung war das Frühstücksbuffet. Für diesen Preis hätte ich mir mehr erhofft. Die Auswahl war Klein. Wurst und Käse war nicht sehr hochwertig. Es gab kaum Obst. Es war ein 08 15 Frühstück. Die Semmeln waren wie Gummi, echt enttäuschend. Das Restaurant im Hotel ist auch sehr schön hergerichtet, aber das Essen kann ich leider nicht empfehlen. Wir hatten Schnitzel mit Pommes und Tiroler Knödel. Das Schnitzel und die Pommes wurden in der Fritteuse zubereitet. Es trieftevor Fett, die Knödel waren klein und trocken. Dafür haben wir mit zwei Getränken fast 50 € bezahlt. Die Freundlichkeit der Kellner hielt sich in Grenzen, wobei man sagen muss, dass sie völlig unterbesetzt waren. Fazit: das Hotel und die Einrichtung machen einen sehr guten Eindruck, aber leider steckt nicht viel dahinter. Ich kann es nicht weiterempfehlen.

Toller Urlaub in schöner Gegend und super Hotel! Es gibt einen kostenfreien Parkplatz hinter dem Haus. Der Empfang war sehr sehr freundlich. Sebastian macht einen super Job! Die Zimmer sind neu renoviert, geräumig und haben viele Materialien aus Natur/Holz. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, die Kissen überhauptnicht. Das Personal und der Service im Restaurant sind sehr gut, insbesondere Maria. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr umfangreich, man findet reichlich Auswahl. Die Nachmittags-Jause hingegen ist sehr dürftig. Eine Suppe und was Süßes. Am Abend gibt es wechselnde Suppen. Das Salatbuffet ist jeden Abend nahezu identisch, was schade ist. Es gibt drei Hauptgerichte zur Auswahl, die immer sehr gut waren. Der Nachtisch war auch immer lecker. Der Wellnessbereich ist sehr sauber und neu. Es gibt Handtücher und Getränke so wie schöne Ruhemöglichkeiten und einen Garten. Wir persönlich hätten (nach dem Wandern) gerne noch einen Whirlpool gehabt. Aber vielleicht kommt der ja noch. Insgesamt ein sehr schönes Hotel mit nettem Personal und gutem Essen.

Das Hotel wird nach und nach umgebaut und wir hatten das Pech, ein zwar schönes und großes Zimmer, aber mit altmodischem Badezimmer zu bekommen. Der Wellnessbereich ist sehr schön und man kann von dort nach draussen in den Garten gehen und sich dort zwischen den Saunagängen entspannen. Auch wenn die Hotelgäste nebenan am Nachmittag ihren Kaffe schlürfen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war vielfältig und abwechslungsreich. Das Abendessen hat uns nicht überzeugt, für den Aufpreis hätten wir im Ort deutlich besser und ansprechender gegessen.
