Royal Beach is one of the exclusive hotels of Isrotel. It does not disappoint. Rooms are wonderful, from the robes to the empty minibar, and little things like the shower door opening into the shower so the floor doesn't get wet when you exit the shower. But there were many little things that I am surprised at. - The slippers provided are plastic flipflops. I am not a climate activist - but it bothers me that rather than provide the terry slippers that decompose in a year if left outside, the plastic flipfliops will not decompose even in 100 years - no fly traps at pool: dozens of flies descend on you when sitting by the pool. Not a single fly trap to e found - cats at breakfast: every hotel has cat issues, but I counted 6 cats at breakfast on the porch and as soon as someone got up to get another glass of OJ, the cats jumped on the table and ate what was available. Random people has to warn returnees not to eat the food that the cats had shared. - really minor issue: when I stay at the Isrotel Carmel Spa - they serve lox with no black edges - only pure pink smoked salmon. Royal beach should do the same. See picture below. I hope they fix these issues.

The Royal Beach Hotel is nice and luxurious. Hotel and rooms design beautifully. Before we arrived we had a phone call from the hotel and they asked me about our preferences and fulfilled all of them. The room was spotless, with high-end amenities in the bathroom, soft towels, robes, a coffee machine, and complimentary water — everything you’d expect from a five-star stay. The pool was clean, well managed, and spacious. Location is very sentral to the beach and to the promenade. Breakfast was very good. The only downside was that parking wasn't available and there wasn't transparency regarding parking availability. There is some very rude person in charge of the parking that says to guests that the parking is not available now. You can't see the real situation there. I think that honorable hotel can't afford this behavior with the guests. Except for this parking issue everything was perfect.

This place is a sort of institution. I stayed here years ago and found it nicer than the stay I have just had there. The rooms are comfortable enough and reasonably well done. However, last night there was noise from a loud disco event until well after midnight - staff didn't even pick up the phone when I called. The half board buffet dinners are high quality (I had it one evening) and great variety of fresh food. However, the pool area and beach are really run down and often dirty. The whole place has the feel of a "holiday camp" - that might suit some people - but for the crazy prices ($600 a night or more), it seems very out of synch. I went to Eilat for a bit of winter sun, but won't now go back again.

A restaurant which when you arrive 5 minutes early for your reservation at thr first sitting is almost empty. They tell you to wait for 10 minutes outside as your table is not ready. An hour after ordering still waiting to be served. Once this place was good. Now it suffers from lack of management and a failure to understand what is service. When an entrecote arrived it was so full of fat it was unchewable. When the staff asked how the food was and were told politely, they just shrugged their shoulders.

The hotel is impossible to reach. When someone does answer, they transfer you to a line that does not answer. They do not answer emails. So when they made a mistake on my bill after many messages and calls I was forced to give up.

I really like the big bucket with free ice and plastic bags that you can take with you to the beach due to the high temperatures it was pretty convenient having ice with us at all times

We booked what was supposed to be a new and modern suite, but when we arrived, everything looked very old-fashioned. During our five-day stay, the sink got blocked twice, and the room wasn’t cleaned properly. They promised us parking, but when we got there, they said there weren’t enough spots available, so we had to find parking ourselves and pay extra every day. The staff were not very friendly. It felt like they only paid attention to certain guests, especially those who seemed more "high class." Overall, this really affected our vacation and left us feeling unwelcome and disappointed.

There was no air conditioning when we got there. We asked for a new room. They would not help us. One night the electricity went off for hours. Customer services ce was awful.
