We traveled to the Maldives to celebrate our 10th anniversary and chose Taj Exotica based on our friends' recommendations and its convenient 10-15 minute speedboat ride. Upon arrival, we were greeted by hotel representative Ali, who promptly guided us to the speed boat. The ride was a bit bumpy due to high tide and rough choppy waters. Our stay was in a Lagoon Water Villa, which was beautiful, clean, and spacious. The property is pristine, close to nature, with a calm and serene beach. Our room attendant, Simo, was incredibly kind and patient, well versed to explain the itinerary and suggesting activities for us. We extend our gratitude to the entire staff at Taj for their wonderful service. Everyone was friendly and kind. Special mentions to Ahmed, Nutei from the spa team; Ismail, Shafio, Azzam, Riyaz, Menleon, Nishad and Hassan from the restaurant team who made every dining a special experience recommended various Maldivian dishes; and Kuttu, who took us snorkeling and provided a life-changing experience. Nestled amidst lush greenery and overlooking the stunning turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean, it felt like we were in paradise. The views from our villa were spectacular, offering the perfect backdrop for a romantic escape. Accommodation: Our villa was pure indulgence. Spacious, elegantly decorated, and equipped with all modern amenities, it provided the perfect blend of comfort and opulence. The private pool was a delightful bonus, offering us a secluded spot to unwind and enjoy each other’s company. Service: The staff at Taj Exotica were exceptional. From the warm welcome at check-in to the personalized service throughout our stay, they went above and beyond to make us feel special. Every request was met with a smile, and the attention to detail was impressive. Dining: The culinary experience was extraordinary. Each restaurant at the resort offered a unique and exquisite dining experience. The breakfast buffet was also a highlight, with a wide variety of delicious options to start our day. Special thanks to Mhelen from the 24 Degrees restaurant and her amazing team – Niju, Ismail, Shajahan, and Azzam – for making our dining experience exceptional. Their warm hospitality and attentive service truly enhanced our stay. Overall: Taj Exotica Resort and Spa exceeded our expectations in every way. The combination of stunning location, luxurious accommodation, impeccable service, and exceptional dining made our stay truly magical. Good foods! Amazing welcome surprises! I love you all. Thanks to Shaafiu, Ismail, Mhelen and Shahjham. I love Dragon chili chicken, Korean beef noodles, Tom yum, Chocolate dessert and watermelon juice! A fresh experience when tasting the Indian food and Maldives food.

Staffs in 24 degrees are very friendly and they prepare the surprise goodbye gift (Travel Safe picture made by rice！) Specially thanks to Shaafiv Ismail Mhelen and Shahjhan. They provide the best service！ I'm sure i will come back to travel here again in the future

The team at Taj Exotica ensured our stay was the most comfortable. At the 24 Degrees Restaurant, Mhelen made us feel at home, while Hassan, Riyaz, Shafiu and Niushad had amazing food recommendations. The bartender at the Equator Bar and Aman's Bingo Night made our evenings memorable. Thank you dear staff for taking good care of us! See you soon again!

I gifted my parents a stay at the property and to say that their experience was amazing would be an understatement. Firstly, the property is BEAUTIFUL. But the highlight of their experience was the staff at Taj who went above and beyond to take care of them and make it a memorable stay. Every day was a beautiful experience with thoughtful surprises and gestures. The Taj team excels at hospitality right from their butler Simo to their chef Ashish and his entire team - they made sure my parents were pampered and had everything they could ask for and more. A very special mention to Chef Ashish for dazzling them with his exquisite creations, sharing recipes and giving them a taste of local Maldivian cuisine as well. I couldn’t have asked for a better team than Taj’s to take care of them.

We recieved warm hospitality on arrival at the resort by Ms. Elena.Followed by good welcoming and good food at 24 degree restuarant and staff there Ms.Michelle was very kind enough.Ms. Athini and her team at Spa was very helpful in explaining all the type of Spa related activities.Mr.Appu and Mr. Avinash from Security department assisted us in getting more information on Scuba diving and we did it with there help. At last but not the least Mr.Jinan was very kind enough at the time of departure to suprise us with a couple picture which was taken at the time of arrival. Ms. Yuki departed us with heartful note. Overall it was an awesome trip. Looking forward to come back soon.

Would give the place a 6 on 5 if I could. My parents visited for my dad’s 70th birthday and it was the best experience ever of their lives. The resort is stunning, the views are incredible, the facilities are ultra luxury. But what distinguishes this place is the service. The staff made them feel so welcome and special. They went out of their way to make his birthday memorable - from every staff member wishing him, to a birthday card and cake, to even helping me play a special video for him in the room. I tried my luck by asking and I was so amazed that they actually made it happen. The resort has a smaller no of restaurants and eating options compared to some of the other larger properties but there is good variety and great flavour to keep one happy for a short stay. The spa service was great with well trained therapists, wonderful views and time worthy add-ons. It’s a divine place for a short Maldives ultra luxury experience . And if u are planning to celebrate a special occasion - pick this place without a thought coz they will make it extra special for you.

A wonderful few days at the Taj. Magical from start to finish. Great rooms, fabulous service and a beautiful little island. The food was good, highly recommend the snorkeling with the sharks, the Spa and of course the sunsets from the beach bar.

Our stay at Taj Exotica in the Maldives was simply divine. From the peaceful beaches to the warm welcome by Ms. Celia, every moment was delightful. The comfortable rooms, delicious food, and excellent service made our stay unforgettable. Special thanks to the chefs at 24 Degrees and the friendly staff, especially Ms. Mhehen, Shafin, Ismail, and Arfan. We can't wait to return to this paradise!

Choosing the perfect place to stay in the Maldives is not easy at all, especially with so many top hotels and resort to choose from. However, after much consideration my wife and I selected Taj Exotica as our destination. It was the best choice! What can I say? From the welcoming staff from the airport, to the speedboat transfer and at hotel reception. Our first impressions was everyone in the hotel appeared authentic and genuinely happy to look after us. This was indeed the case throughout our 5 day stay at the hotel. The service, food was immaculate. Shout out to Bilal and Priyantha whipping up amazing cocktails in the Equator bar. Shout out also to the hospital staff at 24 Degrees: Niju, Shaatu, Ismail, Mhelen and others if I forgot your name! They went out with the service each evening at the restaurant from taking time to speak to us about Maldives and their livelihood on the island made the interaction personal and authentic. Thanks to Adam our butler throughout our time here! And the Chinese and Spanish receptionist (apologise I forgot your names)! Apart from the consistent and quality service we received. The facilities was top notch from a fully equipped gym, large infinity pool and plenty of water sport activities. Snorkelling in the lagoon was a top highlight! Overall, this was one of the best stays we had. We are glad we chose Taj Exotica as our 1st hotel visiting the Maldives. We will certainly aim to return in the near future :) !
