Relais Villa Vittoria

We had wonderful 4 night stay in a spacious well appointed room with exquisite views. The staff were always friendly, and very helpful with our numerous enquiries. Breakfast was plentiful and dinner well presented and delicious. While linen was fresh and clean I would advise improving the quality of the linen and duvets and provide a warm extra blanket, even in spring. And the towels which while perfectly clean, are very thin. Good thick cotton towels are a must. Despite these criticisms we would highly recommend this gorgeous hotel. Thank you everyone

My husband and I travel a lot and I have never felt a need to write a review for anything because we have always been happy with our choices based on thorough investigation of hotels before we travel. We like Mr and Mrs Smith, Telegraph and Small luxury hotels reviews a lot. Villa Vittoria at Lake Como has made me feel like I have to offer a fellow small luxury traveler that expects value for money a warning. Room was ok and what we had booked. However, service throughout the hotel… reception, bar service and restaurant were less than zero. The music played throughout the hotel, outside terrace areas and even the restaurant was loud and obnoxious and we asked many times for them to turn it down and they would not. The 80’s discotheque music at their expensive lakeside restaurant was too much for us. The loud music ruined what should have been our last night of a fabulous two week vacation in Northern Italy and the Dolomites. Worst part was they didn’t care when we brought it to their attention. Very disappointed. We also had an early flight from Malpensa the next day and had to leave 7:30 and breakfast was not available until 8:30. Do not recommend this hotel if you want a quality experience. Perhaps we were unlucky…but I hate being disappointed when I am the customer and the staff doesn’t care. One should also consider access and parking facilities of this hotel if driving. Very cumbersome.

We stayed here three nights which was a good amount to see the area and visit the nearby villages .The rooms were wonderful , a generous size and clean . Freshly Decorated keeping the tradition of the villa . The breakfast was adequate but the service was lovely and we had delicious coffee every morning . We had a wonderful lake view from the room which was magical to wake upto . I would stay here again but please note the spa use comes at an extra cost of 20 euros per person .

I wish I had seen Carol L’s review before booking this hotel on the shore of lake Como. This family run hotel is certainly trying to punch above its weight and obviously trading on its views. The attention to detail, no a**osphere and indifferent staff don’t help. Carol was lucky to have missed breakfast in the cramped cellar room where tables were so close together no one could get up or move around the room without someone else moving. The breakfast itself was cold (the hot food plate was not on), the selection was meagre, the coffee never showed, the milk was rancid and the waiting staff were chaotic to say the least. When we highlighted all of the above they were indifferent and did not know what to do. Apparently the cellar room was meant to be a**ospheric in winter which certainly is not our experience. Bearing in mind it was also the festive season the hotel was lacking any festive a**osphere what so ever which I think reflects the owners attitude towards hospitality generally. Avoid as there are far better places to stay and eat that also charge less around the lake.

Just got back from como, stayed at this beautiful villa. I am giving this villa 4 stars only because my friend and I payed €60 for the spa experience, which included jaquizi and sauna, this experience is overpriced in our honest opinion and trying to help fellow travellers. Jaquizi was freezing cold, and it smelled of mold. It really should have been included into the price of stay, definetly not worth the money! Attic room was very clean, staff were helpful, it is situated on beautiful surroundings, right on the shore of the lake, lovely food at restaurant. It’s advertised as you can see George Clooneys house from the villa, you can’t. However it’s only 15 min walk from the villa down the road. There is no pedestrian walk so you have to be careful when you walk on the road. Pleasant experience overall.

If you're looking for a quiet villa on Lake Como to relax, Relais Villa Vittoria is for you! We hosted our wedding here and the service, views, and food were 10/10 - perfect. We rented a car, which allowed us to easily visit other towns nearby and catch the ferry to explore the busier towns. It was so nice to come back to Laglio each day after visiting the more touristy/busier areas on Lake Como. We hosted three events onsite for our wedding - a wine tasting, our reception dinner, and a farewell brunch. All three events were absolutely beautiful and more than we could have ever dreamed of. The food was spectacular - our guests are still talking about our wedding dinner now weeks later. Thank you for hosting our dream wedding on Lake Como! The rooms onsite were beautifully decorated and well-furnished. The views are spectacular! Photos don't do this gorgeous property justice. A special thank you to all of the ladies at the front desk, Claudio, Leo, and the rest of the staff. You all made our experience more than we could have asked for.

From myself and my family we give a massive thank you for accommodating us for a wonderful stay in your beautiful Villa. Although a short stay, we felt at home. Thank you for your attentiveness and flexibility and making everything as stress free as possible. We already can’t wait to come back again and again, it really is a very special place for us having hosted our wedding here. An absolute dream! We had our elopement wedding here and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel. Aside from being absolutely gorgeous and breathtaking, with a charming sitting room and restaurant patio overlooking Lake Como, to the infinity pool and gorgeous landscaping that makes you feel like you are in a garden oasis, we could not have asked for a better and more memorable place to stay for our wedding. The breakfast spread each morning was delicious with many options and fresh cappuccinos at the ready, and the restaurant has amazing food for both lunch and dinner, and you can have drinks and snacks from the pool bar—nothing beats an aperol spritz while lounging at the pool overlooking the lake! The rooms are so charming and comfortable. My only suggestion when visiting is to definitely plan on renting a car in Lake Como—we did not and learned our lesson the hard way after getting stranded from our visit to Villa Balbianello for two hours while waiting for a bus or a taxi. Taxis are very expensive and the buses were not super reliable because when they are full, there will not be a guarantee that you will get on and you will have to wait an hour for the next one.

Staffs are untrained and unkind. The owner is disrespectful and rude. They ignore customer’s request. Not 4 stars hotel. So disappointed and wasted my money. Worst service in my life! DO NOT recommend to anyone.
