Akkent Garden Hotel

Absolutely perfect setting and location, the rooms are clean and have all the amenities one needs. The manager Mehmed went on and above to help me with my other hotel plans and travel. I’m impressed

Although we came very early in the morning, they guided us immediately to our room, we really appreciated it. We checked in very early, therefore we had the whole day to do our thing. Very cozy, made us feel like at home

We had a really lovely 5 night stay here in September. The hotel is in a perfect location with beautiful pool. Really nice, quiet and relaxing. Set back a bit from the beach however still within walking distance. We hired buggy’s 2 days in a row for 500TL. It was a perfect way to get around. Loads of nice restaurants on the beach front to watch the sunset. Definitely we would return.

absolutely love the place,just returned from a 10 night stay.special mention goes to astli,sarah and of course memhet,the three musketeers ! this is our second visit to the akkent and this last visit was even better than the first.the hotel is in a great location being 20 mins from calis beach one way and 30 mins stroll from fethiye the other.the rooms are spotlessly clean with wi-fi in every room,the breakfast had good choice every morning the hotel is situatated in an area called yerguzlar caddesi which,has many nice places to eat and also a huge supermarket opposite the hotel. as mentioned the staff could not do anymore to please us,all you have to do is ask.i dont get people on here moaning about every little thing they dont like.simples go and pay 5 star prices at another hotel if the akkent doesnt tick your boxes.the pool area is outstanding with well kept gardens and the water is kept lovely and clean by a lovely bloke who works tirelessly to maintain it.myself and the wife will return again in may,we made a lot of new friends here,so for now i wish the akkent all the very best for the rest of the season,and see you all very soon. regards marie and grahame

Disliked · 1. The young guy at checkin was very rude. He insisted that I needed to pay even though I showed him my printed paper and my phone displaying ‘prepaid’. Finally he checked on the computer then said his friend had made a mistake then he agreed that I had prepaid. 2. We went to room 201 and it was like an oven. After an hour, it had not cooled so I asked to change rooms. The young guy came up to check, told me it worked then after 5 minutes agreed that it was not cooling the room. 3. The bathroom had a serious mold problem and the young guy said it needs to be painted. (not correct when mold is involved, it is a health risk, just painting does not solve the problem) 4. We moved to room 208. A light fixture next to the bed was missing so there were wires hanging out of the wall. The door frame had a large gap so even when the door was totally closed and locked, it did not seal so you could see into the bed…….but at least the air conditioner did work in this room. Please see photos as proof of the above. 5. Every time we walked past the front reception, the young guy put his head down and ignored us. It was very rude and uncomfortable. Unfortunately we had paid for 2 nights otherwise we would not have stayed. Liked... 1. Some very good restaurants close by. 2. The older man who helped us get a taxi at checkout was wonderful. He really went out of his way to help us. I wish we had met him first as it would have improved our stay.

Great hotel, nice breakfast, great pool and friendly staff. We had a room at the back over looking the pool which is probably quieter than rooms at the front over looking the street. Rooms were spacious with A/C and very reasonably priced. Enjoy 😉

Very disappointing…..at checkin the young guy was very rude insisting that I had to pay. I showed him my paid printed paper and also my phone which showed paid but still he said I had to pay. When I refused he checked the computer and then said his friend had made a mistake, agreeing I had prepaid. We went to our room 201 and it was like an oven. After 1 hour I asked him to change our room as the air conditioner was not working so he came to check and agreed it was not cooling the room. The bathroom had a serious mold problem on the roof and the shower floor. His reply was that it needed to be painted. We moved to room 208….. there were wires hanging out of the wall where a light was missing, the main door could be locked but it did not seal properly and you could see into the room even though the door was totally closed….at least the air conditioner worked. We stayed 2 nights as I had paid but would have preferred to leave. From then on, every time I walked past the front desk , the young guy put his head down and ignored us. It was very uncomfortable. The only good thing about this place was the older man at the desk when we checked out. He went out of his way to help us get a taxi. He was very friendly. I wish we had dealt with him in the beginning.

After brilliant sailing trip we wanted a wind down hotel with facilities to chill before getting a plane back to U.K. next day. Hotel hit the spot . Rooms spacious clean and air con worked. Newly refurbished pool area and pool bar brilliant. 15 minute walk to coastal restaurant *****, 5 in taxi. Would stay again without hesitation.
