Honestly, I would only stay here again if attending an on-site event. The conference area, bar, and lobby are updated and nice, but the rooms could really use a major update (in fact, we stayed for an event a few years ago and rooms needed updating then). Our room was quite large, with sofa and sitting area, as well as a giant closet, so the space is set up well. It's just old - carpets were torn, paint scraped off walls, and I had to lift the wall air conditioner back into place; luckily it still worked (our friends' room did not), even though it was noisy. Bathrooms could use a redo as well - just very worn out, peeling wallpaper, and our sink faucets spun and leaked when we tried to turn the water on and off. And beware of the smaller elevators - my hand got stuck in one and the door wouldn't reopen until I hit the call button.

It's also a good hotel under Marriott. It's half an hour's drive from Harvard. The hotel is very new with complete facilities and the rooms are large. It feels better than the domestic Atour Hotel. Parking is free.

Angye is one of those people you instinctively know will treat you well. She's smart, personable and knows her job really well. She helped me again tonight when I needed to extended my stay for two more days. Push a button here, pull a lever there and voila! I'm here through Monday morning. The world needs more Angyes. Red Roof needs more Angyes. Can someone get on that please?

So...it is clean. I will give it that and the breakfast is ok. So I stayed ona and off for 10 days. The first room wS handicap accessible...kind of. I mean it looked like it until you looked close . Bed was high. No one in a wheelchair could reach the toasterbor the dishes tucked into a top corner shelf. Or could they open the curtains over the desk. The towel bar was missing. Parts in wall no bar. Bed was really hard. So week 2, I asked with a room with a bathtub I didn't have to fill from the two shower heads since I have a bad back. Was put in saw room but hey the towel bar was fixed. However house keeping kept moving my things which were no in their way to clean and my Coach makeup bag got wet because it wasn't where I left it. Nothong missing just moved. At the end of the 2nd week I begged when I came back for 10 days could I have a room with a tub even if I had to have a lesser room with no kitchen. I was told they would do something. I came back a few days later for my 10 day stay. I reminded the desk person and she said. Yes I think one was saved for you. Got to the room. No tub. Bed was a tad softer. Next day. Shower leaked.still leaking 10 days later. Did mention it. Toilet paper holder broke. It gor fixed. They stopped touching my stuff, which was nice. Fridge ran all the time. Ac/heat was weird but ok until the last night when it was 82 outside today and now zero ac in hotel. The rooms are dated and furniture worn. Lots of places that need paint. The people were always nice. It just feels like the owner is too cheap to update and fix things properly. Especially when th e towel bar in my room currently is bent. The silverware in rooms is all mismatched. The different rooms have different t hi nd. Some had toaster another didn't. One had sharp knives the other didn't. So tonight I will try to sleep check out tomorrow. I won't be back next week when I come back to town.

Looks a bit rough on the outside, but the inside was great. We had everything we wanted ... 2 very comfortable queen beds, a refrigerator, a microwave and a hairdryer. Location was perfect for our stay. Our room faced away from the road and was very quiet.
