The Freeport Hotel, Ascend Hotel Collection

The hotel was clean and staff was helpful and very polite. Excellent location. The only miss is the wifi was non-existant.

I wish there was a way to leave negative stars on here or better yet post pictures. Not only was our room unsanitary it was also unsafe. The shower was brown covered with mildew, mold and soap scum. The bottom of the shower curtain was black. The vent was hanging off the wall. The bathroom door would stick every time you closed it, so night one I got trapped in there and had to scream for my boyfriend to come get me out. The rest of our stay we had to use the bathroom with the door open (which no matter the couple who doesn’t want privacy while they use the bathroom). My favorite part though was the dirty bandaids covering/hanging from the smoke detector. When I went to the front desk I was told without asking-they wouldn’t be giving me my money back, the shower was clean only slightly discolored and if I got stuck and had to break the door down-break it down. I asked twice for the bathroom to at least be cleaned and it never happened. At breakfast the pancake machine stopped working so we asked the front desk to fix it he walked over looked at it and walked away to go sit back at the front desk. Never fixed it or even explained anything.

We found the property to be quiet, staff very helpful and courteous. However, the room was small and musty. Also, got bug bites from bed and husband found a cockroach.

Very clean, safe, and quiet. Excellent service from the front desk person. Food was really good as well.

Easy to find. Neat n tidy outside. Bed were soft n comfy. Had a great night’s sleep. Service was great. Something was wrong with the tv. Called the front desk and they came right away. I’d stay there again.

The person that checked us in was both friendly and professional. I had mistakenly booked the wrong type of room. He was able to get us the room we needed politely and efficiently. 5 Stars

Service is excellent. Martz and another gentleman, I think name started with a "C", polite, helpful. Property could use more staff to help. Room is rather cramped, but you cannot tell from photos

This property was not worth the money! The pillows were so uncomfortable. The shower curtain was so dirty and disgusting. It looks like it hasn’t been washed in years. The air was turned off in the room and it took us a while to figure out how to put it on. I only needed somewhere to stay for a few hours. But my car would have been a better option than paying so much money for this place.
