Reviews of Hotel Sekifu

The hotel was reserved for a travel agency that we used for a tour. The entrance was decorated with a large chandelier and carpets, and William Morris' paintings were used here and there. The rooms were arranged facing a large Japanese garden, giving it the feel of a large Showa-era retro inn. The inn is old, but the amenities, such as the natural hot spring hair dryers and showers, were well-thought-out. The meals were made with local ingredients and were quite filling. After the meal, there was a show and bingo tournament in the lobby, probably because it was reserved for us. We used it as a group, so I don't know how it is for individual guests. However, there was no shop, and there was a corner at the front desk that sold wine and some snacks to have with tea in the room, but there were no vending machines, so we couldn't buy bottled water, and there was no convenience store nearby, so it was inconvenient.
