I stayed here for one night. Checked out and 3 days later received a $1k charge to my card for a broken TV that I don’t even know that I turned on. When speaking with the general manager, she was unhelpful, with a less than desirable tone and disconnected the call. I have called and emailed to follow up without response. The front desk staff was nice. After looking at reviews may not have been the first time someone was charged falsely for damages

Property is very clean along with the room. Well lit parking lot and friendly staff. Bed was decent compared to other hotels I've stayed at. They offered breakfast but I chose to sleep instead after a late night at Winstar, so I'm not sure what they served. I would definitely stay there again. My only complaints are that the card didn't work on any of the side or back doors due to the cold and you had to walk around the to the front of the building to get inside. That needs to be fixed, the cold is not a good excuse. The other complaint is the price. While the facility is only 5 years old and nice and well taken care of, being so close to the highway, you can hear the traffic all night long. I'm thinking that the price should be about $50 to $70 less than it is.

The four nights I was there continental breakfast wasn’t served. Also, the heater in my room didn’t work; the pool heater was also broken (indoor pool was cold). Hotel maintenance staff need to address broken heaters and breakfast needs to be served (as advertised when booking).

This was the first time I stayed at the Fairfield in Gainesville. I was traveling for work so I needed a safe place to unwind after doing so. The room was clean and comfortable with great tv options. Their fitness center had three working thread mills and updated weight equipment. In the morning, croissant breakfast sandwiches were available which was a nice change from the usual hotel bacon and eggs. Definitely a good place to stay.

I’m surprised this hotel had such a high rating, it’s not the best in the area. The room is clean, no frills and less than you would get at Holiday inn express. The counter attendant was very good and busy taking care of multiple guests, the elevator was out, while not something they can control.. inconvenient, My biggest complaint, the breakfast which is included, was awful, it made no sense just warmed up frozen spinach quiche bites and some kinda of muffin/fritter. Really bad, lobby is nice and quite misleading for expectations in your room. Sorry I like to be fair, for the 200.00 price tag for each of the 2 rooms. I would go with Holiday Inn Express.

This $89 hotel jacked up their rates to $400+ for New Years Eve 2023. It's most definitely a $89 hotel. Requested an upper level room away from the elevator an hour prior to arrival. Vanessa, manager, confirmed. When we arrived, we were placed on ground floor adjacent to an exit door. Morning after celebrating NYE kids were running up and down hall and door was slamming open and shut. Decor is from the 70s. Comforter is thin, so had to request a blanket. Disappointing.

I had an necklace stolen from my room. I left my necklace in the room I had checked out of early that day. When I called to ask the manager to locate it, she stated that she could not. Called several times with no answer from the hotel
