La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Texas City I-45

Service was very good, breakfast was OK, amenities like the bar being closed since covid is easing up should've been open, not like there would be a large crowd in there. Breakfast should be open longer than 9am due to folks like to sleep in on vacation, and where breakfast is offered, should be able to get some when they get up!!! More assorted quick breakfast, like muffins (only had blueberry both days we were there). Coffee in the room could be more plentiful, (only had 1 packet of regular coffee for 2 people for 2 days) 3 packets of decaf otherwise. All said and done, the beds were comfy and the ac worked quite well. Thanks for taking pets too! Enjoyed our stay and will come again.

I booked this hotel for its convenience to the ports. I should have looked for other options. We were given the first room and when we walked in, it had a smell to it. As I looked around there was still trash on the trashcan and what looked like bloody tissues. Maybe that's why the cleaning lady didn't clear it? I went down and told them the front desk lady apologized and gave us a new room. That room looked ok until i went to restroom. The mirrors looked dirty there was hair on the floor and in tub. We needed to leave for dinner so we decided to stay. When we returned i was getting ready for bed and saw more hair on the sheets/ bedding and pillows. I seriously doubt the cleaning crew thoroughly cleaned. We were tired and just slept on top of everything. I had my own blanket. I just wanted morning to come and leave. We tried breakfast the next day and nothing special. Just the normal waffle, toast, eggs and sausage. Would we go back or recommend...No!

The hotel was short staffed. The floors were dirty, we didn’t have any towels in our room, there was hair in our bathtub. It was disgusting and will never stay here again.

This is a nice building. Staff was kind. Breakfast was simple but fresh and good. Beds were comfortable. All the normal hotel amenities. Didnt visit the pool or gym so I cant speak for that. The cleanliness was lacking. Our hall way was not vacuumed, and looked like it hadnt been for a while. The elevator was dirty also. In our room everything was clean except there was hair in the shower before anyone even used the bathroom. Parking lot also needed picked up, there was trash laying around. I understand there are staffing shortages everywhere, finding good help is hard. We would stay here again despite the few cleaning issues. Price was great!!

It seems like a good hotel, however, they had some issues that need addressed. The room had a strong musty smell, the hard floors were sticky and the chair in the room was extremely stained and dirty. Breakfast was good but with limited items and milk in an open jug is not hygienic . Staff was extremely friendly. We asked for a do not disturb sign and we were none were available. Only 1 towel in thw bathroom as well .

A great place to stay while checking out Galveston and the Space Center! Right off the highway and was clean and safe! Breakfast could use a few improvements like fresh fruits and some fast takes like muffins. Good price and value!!

The sweetheart of a lady that worked in the breakfast area was awesome. I believe her name is Adriana (something close to that ). She went out of her way with kindness. ❤️ this started my morning the best in days due to family health issues. She deserves a big kudos perhaps a gift card 🥰

The hotel was very nice. The staff was professional. The breakfast was a little sad. The room was very nice but it looked like they rushed to clean and missed a couple of things. Overall, it was good and I would stay there again.
