Hotel Tres Anclas Reviews

Our stay was a disaster and we ended up leaving the hotel at 11:00pm without spending the evening because there was so much noise that it was impossible to sleep. Every other room seemed to be occupied by middle and high school basketball players and they were having an enormous concert in the field in front of the hotel with lights projecting onto our windows. It was a complete nightmare. The staff were understanding and compensated us for the extra fee they had required at check in to upgrade our room, but they couldn't give us the full rebate and it was truly impossible to spend the night there, especially with two small children. If there is going to be a loud event planned notification should be provided in advance to guests so they are aware and can make alternative plans if needed! We were stranded without any notice and suddenly found ourselves driving 3 hours at 11:00pm at night with a toddler and infant. Completely unacceptable.

Don't even consider this hotel if you like a calm atmosphere! Excessive noise from entertainment Noise from coach loads of teenagers who arrived on mass and ran amok in the evenings. Queues for Dinner were ridiculous, with a long wait to get into the restaurant (30 - 60 minutes in a queue). Once in the restaurant it was actually worse than a supermarket restaurant, noisy with staff running around at a million miles per hour. Getting the buffet was virtually a free for all. The hotels rooms are very dated & inefficiently organised. With hard surfaces everywhere the noise carries and is disproportionately magnified. Then there's the ongoing building works at the hotel. Yes really! Note - no mention of this at the time of booking and no mention of it at reception when we arrived. The noise even resonated under water whilst using the outdoor pool. If we could have cancelled our reservation after the first night without loosing our money we wouldn't have hesitated. There are two positives - the staff who worked very hard and the proximity to the beach. But even considering these - perhaps one of the worse hotel we have ever stayed at!

Nice that the hotel is close to the beach but it is really outdated. Rooms were clean so that is a plus but the food was only so so. I personally don’t eat meat so the options were quite limited and many times the fish option was just so bony and dry. We even had to wait for plates since they ran out of clean ones and because of that the lunch time came to it’s end and they started to clean the foods away.

The hotel staff are very kind. They make your stay wonderful and pleasant.

It seems that it is a hotel that needs a good overhaul. Although their staff is very friendly and very attentive. If there is something that doesn't seem right to me, it is that you have to make an appoin**ent to swim in the indoor pool and pay for it on top of that. The food, although there is not much to choose from, it is true that what there is is quite delicious. It is possible that I repeat with this hotel

Very good value for money. Clean room and perfect bedding. Very well maintained hotel. Unfortunately poorly soundproofed rooms. Neighbors' conversations were audible. The catering was simple but adequate. During the busy weekend the staff was efficient and there were no shortages at the buffet despite the crowds.

Very deteriorated facilities, very noisy, not suitable for resting, lousy buffet, obsolete rooms, very uncomfortable beds...A nigh**are.

We had to wait an hour to get in for dinner because of the queue that they allowed to form**** The bathroom had dirt on the silicone gasket in the bathtub. A small bathroom

Hotel with very good quality-price. It is on the second line of the beach, just 3 minutes walk to the beach. The food is good and there is variety for the price paid (there was even salmon). The attentive staff. Being at the end of the beach, the hustle and bustle is a 30-minute walk away (for your information). The only but is that the dining room is small and if you come down late you have to wait in line. Free parking in low season, and even then there is plenty of free parking all around. And for drinks, I think there is an offer for hiring x days, otherwise they are €2.5 for a 1.5 liter bottle, and €2.5 for a third of Estrella. The beach is wonderful. There are better ones, but as Doña Fina would say "it's worth paying."

Everything is average. One thing that I think needs to be changed is giving the possibility of at least having free water for meals.

In general good, at lunchtime long lines and no replacement of products after finishing with more than 1 hour left to finish the closing of the dining room. Food quality could be improved

Huge hotel, very beautiful, lots of services, it almost felt like being on a cruise, with entertainers, all the various activities to do. Very nice idea. There was only one problem, that in the morning if you want to sleep, you don't sleep, impossible, perhaps with earplugs. From 7 onwards, you hear the alarms on the whole floor, obviously a hotel full of children (with parents who don't care) who as soon as they leave the room, run and scream in the corridor. Not just the children, but also the parents... Another problem in the morning was that the elevator is almost impossible to take, precisely because the hotel is huge. For the rest everything is excellent, a stone's throw from the beach, top swimming pool.

The quality and cost-benefit ratio is excellent...close to the beach and the center and with many attractions!
