SAN Giorgio Rooms are fantastic! The front desk gentleman was very kind and spoke very good English. He took the time to draw out all the highlights to see close to the hotel. The largest aquarium in Europe is just across the plaza. The sheets on the bed are so crisp and the down comforter was so warm. Highly recommend this accommodation. It is very private and not like a regular hotel with front desk, restaurant etc.

A fantastic location in the center of Genova - one block from the duomo. You can't ask for better. The hotel occupies half the fourth floor of an historic building. Some rooms face toward the town (our toward the duomo), other toward the highway and port. Those facing the town are quieter, of course. The rooms are clean and functional, perhaps a little old and basic, but that is not a criticism. Breakfast is what you would expect - but as such good. Espresso (not cappuccino) available on request.

Excellent location for visiting the aquarium 200 meters away and other attractions. They don't have parking but there is a public one nearby for 12 hours we paid 32 euros. Very nice and clean hotel and very helpful at reception. Breakfast good. I recommend

Beautiful and comfortable room .. optimal location .. Friendliness and courtesy make it a nice place to spend a few days in absolute relaxation .. Everything as described .. The only flaw is the Booking site which signals the parking that is not there as a service. For the rest everything is splendid (I forgot the abundant breakfast)

Posizione perfetta, in testa a Via San Lorenzo dalla parte del porto, per visitare Genova a piedi. DI fronte un parcheggio a pagamento all'aperto, l'acquario a una cinquantina di metri, ai piedi della Genova medievale, Via Garibaldi a dieci minuti di distanza a piedi. Ristoranti e trattorie tipiche a portata di mano; insomma situazione ideale. L'affittacamere è al quarto piano di un palazzo antico, con ascensore. La sala colazioni è molto elegante (colazione a buffet più che sufficiente), la stanza ('Santa Barbara') e il bagno sono un po' stretti ma comunque confortevoli. Lo staff è sempre presente e molto disponibile.

Palazzo storico in pieno centro, comodo per visitare a piedi sia il centro storico che la Zona del porto antico. Peccato che la zona sia molto frequentata da tanta gente non raccomandata e anche in pieno giorno si sono svolti diversi arresti. Anche di notte è difficile prendere sonno per gli schiamazzi della gente sotto nella piazzetta e sirene di polizia! Peccato davvero! Il palazzo è tenuto molto bene, bellissima la stanza delle colazioni. Stanze molto ampie con un bagno però minuscolo, non si riesce nemmeno ad aprire la porta della doccia.

Una bella esperienza per una sola notte per l’ultimo dell’anno. Grande disponibilità dei gestori a risolvere ogni piccolo problema, ottima la posizione di fronte al porto antico, all’acquario e a pochi passi dal centro storico di Genova. Molto bella la sala per l’abbondante colazione. Torneremo di sicuro appena ne avremo l’opportunità per visitare quanto non visto ancora Di Genova.
