It provides a bed for the night if the visitor is not picky. Upon arrival, It was difficult to open the front door, the fridge contained outdated milk and an old jam jar, the paint was peeling off the window frames, the bathroom had a quirky shower head, it was like stepping back into the 1950s or you could pretend the place posessed some sort of old charm. The owner greeted me with a friendly smile but also told me to relax when I saw a wasp approaching and I am not the screamish type! The garden looked like a damping ground, was overgrown. The breakfast consisted of one brioche, one baguette, jam, butter - enough for three. Sorry to say we would not return.

Booked through Booking for one night. The place does not correspond to the photos, we had to get our bread ourselves when breakfast was included, fruit juice milk and jam started, leaky fridge, no Wi-Fi, old equipment, staircase or should I say ladder to reach the bedroom... In short, not great, especially for the price!

La chambre au charme bucolique et à sa terrasse singulière ont indéniablement conquis les voyageurs en recherche de dépaysement que nous sommes. Au centre du minuscule mais fort attrayant et poétique village de Giverny, nous avons trouvé une sympathique bulle de bonheur ! Excellents vins et pâtés proposés à la vente. Petit bémol pour un petit déjeuner un peu sommaire.

L'hôte nous a demandé si on "n'aimait pas le style". Effectivement nous n'avons pas de goût particulier pour le style "Taudis" A fuir, ce que nous avons fait immédiatement. Un peu le problème de Giverny: le jardin de Monet est magnifique mais autour, c'est de l'attrape touristes...
