Top hotel with lots of attention to detail and I can only recommend it. From the outside the hotel looks relatively normal, but then... then comes a big "wow". The location, facilities, room size, restaurant, nothing was missing. Even though we only chose one night, it was enough to say: we'll be back.

Dream hotel where everything was perfect: facilities, service, kitchen! We have never experienced so much love for the job and the hotel - all the employees did a great job, were more than friendly and competent. The hotel helped to celebrate the unannounced birthday with lots of surprises (breakfast table and room). Thank you to the hotel team!!!

This hotel fulfills all wishes! Rooms large and very tastefully decorated. Pleasant colors and good images. Bathroom very well designed with soft towels. Great location at the castle and in the park. Wellness area very pleasant. Breakfast first class! Buffet also with Thuringian specialties, many types of tea. Service very friendly.

I visited the Hotel Am Schlosspark in Gotha with my family. The hotel is located right next to a small park and a little above the city. It is about 20 minutes on foot to the city center. At least when I was there in January, there are parking spaces directly opposite the hotel for free. The rooms are large and everything is very clean. The facilities are not the newest but that doesn't matter at all as everything is very well maintained. The staff at the reception are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very extensive and very good. The staff here are also extremely friendly. All in all, I felt very comfortable and the hotel is highly recommended. I will definitely visit the hotel again

We were happy with everything except the service at breakfast on Sunday which was a bit poor. Only one waitress to set the table and provide service is not enough for this number of guests.

I was looking for a place that was on my route to relax for a few days. The Hotel am Schlosspark was ideal for this. Clean and quiet location - only happy children on their way to school in the morning. The wellness area is absolutely sufficient and tastefully equipped - a plunge pool after the sauna would be nice, but there are plenty of other "cooling down" options. I was really impressed by the restaurant area. In the evening a personalized menu, in the morning a general flyer with the weather, a nice saying and excursion tips. And the food was really tasty, every plate was decorated with a little cress, mint, patterns of sauce... all in all, an all-round successful break

The hotel is in a quiet location right next to Friedenstein Castle. The old town is a 10-minute walk away. The train station is also about a 15-minute walk away. In keeping with the location, the hotel's interior has an older but very well-kept look. The hotel is also quiet. The ambience in the restaurant, where breakfast is also served, is very well-kept. The large rooms have practical cupboards and a spacious bathroom. The heating can be regulated independently. The staff were friendly - thank you very much. We would be happy to come back to Gotha another time.

We always enjoy coming back to the Baroque Festival. The hotel is in a perfect location near the castle and the center. Guests feel very comfortable here, great service, comfortable rooms, everything very clean and well-maintained and very good food.

We spent 3 nights at the Hotel am Schlosspark and were very satisfied with the entire hotel offering of this owner-managed business. Breakfast and dinner were good to very good, the service was very friendly and professional. The good location with short distances to the sights and the old town is also worth mentioning.

Right from the start, the friendly staff stood out and gave us a warm welcome. Large rooms, a little "plush" but in top condition. Excellent service in the restaurant, especially when it came to special requests. Very good breakfast, at least good to very good food from lunch to dinner. The hotel is in a good location. We would definitely come back!

Found it on Tripadvisor as part of a trip. 5 stars are absolutely justified. Even USB ports by the bed... you can easily forgive the one bedside lamp in the middle between the beds. Personally, I'm not into bathtubs and climbing... well, it's still standard in many places. The breakfast buffet was great and perfectly laid out to look at. One point deducted for the room service. Why? 1. The welcome water. Nice sign, free for you, but the bottle is empty. Should I take it to reception??? They'll think what a... beggar. 2. And then a used blister plaster behind the shower curtain... ugh... soaked up and I could already walk. Hello housekeeper!!! Trust is good, control is better. Conclusion: we'll be happy to come back. It can happen, without it would have been perfect.

The staff is very friendly and special praise goes to the kitchen.
