We enjoyed our stay at Ocean Club West. The staff and facilities were great and the location on beautiful Grace Bay Beach and close to shops was excellent. The only two inconveniences we encountered were that we booked a one bedroom with a pullout couch and there was no pull out couch. Luckily, we only needed a bed for one and a rollaway was brought immediately by TC who was awesome! I would also say that the internet in the unit was weak unless you were in the one back bedroom. Otherwise, we were happy with the unit. This property is great for a family stay!

Landscaping and the lights were beautiful. The beach of coarse was amazing!! Food portions were small for dinner for the price.

NO welcome drinks! Around pool area, my mother was questioned by two staffs if she was a guest of resort. Those two staffs tried to kick her out because they wanted give chaise lounge chairs to other four white people. Those chaise lounge chairs were NOT served first come first serve and no time restriction. This is not a way to treat a guest.

This was our second stay at Ocean Club West, and it was fabulous! The staff is friendly and helpful, and they go above and beyond to provide exemplary service. The accommodations are spacious, the beds are very comfortable, and the buildings and grounds are meticulously maintained. We can't wait to go back again!

This was our third visit to the Turks and Caicos and our first stay at ocean Club West. The property was excellent! Wonderful room, perfect beach front, and dinning options all around.
The one area that needs definite change its the properties restaurant. The food quality was just ok but the service at the restaurant needs to be addressed. Unlike Ocean Club, (East), there is literally no beach service for food and beverages while on the beach. Other resorts in the area offer this and it is something that needs to be improved upon.
Please not that the staff at the restaurant was very friendly and helpful, but it was understaffed.
An a bright note, the bell men Emell and TC were amazing, personable, and full of knowledge about the surrounding businesses.
Again, we love the resort and its staff.

Place was perfect. Beach and pool right at your door step. All employees were very friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed at Ocean Club west this November- we had a good stay- staff helpful and so friendly. Our room was simple but clean- loved having a screened in balcony to rest on. Loved how close to the beach it is. Pool is great for when the ocean is a little rough. Lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas on beach and at pool. Love having a beach bar that you can charge to your room. Place is close to local grocery store so we cooked some of our own meals to save money. We live in Canada so prices comparable to home on a lot of things. We took taxis or places provided rides for the outings that we did. Would like if property provided list of restaurants- activities in area- we googled a lot. Over all place is clean- important to me- daily room cleaning if you choose. We loved how close we were to the beach- daily walks were awesome. I felt safe and when we were in our room it was quiet. Desk checks on you your first day and makes sure your departure goes smooth. I would return for another visit and would recommend to others as well.

Great location - walkable to many restaurants and the beach was amazing! The unit had a washer/dryer and kitchenette which was beneficial. It didn't have an oven which would have been nice, but there are grills on the property. The online site said that it had a happy hour at the restaurant, but unfortunately it didn't. We found a great happy hour nearby, but would have spent more money at Ocean Club if they had one.

The location is great, and within walking or biking distance of many shops and restaurants. The beach is beautiful…soft white sands, with an expanse of chairs and umbrellas. The staff is engaging and friendly. The grounds were immaculate. Such a relaxing and comfortable stay! We stayed here for our first to TCI a few years ago, and loved it enough to come back.

We had a wonderful time! I loved that this was a smaller property. Very convenient to the beach as well as restaurants. It was very clean and very safe. All of the staff was so nice. We will be back!

(cross-posted review) Gonna give this place an average of 3 stars because the service is a problem but the room and location are outstanding. Details as follows:
Pros -
The room (2 bedroom partial oceanview deluxe suite) was among the biggest I've ever had for the price. The rooms are like an air B&B so the condition and style of your room is highly variable. I stronly recommend you request our specific room, room 735 cause it was so impeccably maintained, fantastic upscale decor, pleasant floors to walk on even barefoot, and fully stocked plates/pans/silverware etc.
The beach has silky soft sand and plenty of umbrellas placed out so it was never an issue
Con -
The main Con was the service; we stayed Tuesday through Saturday, so that means we should have had 3 days of service (wednesday, thursday and friday). They never came wednesday and I asked them to ensure they come around noon on thursday which they did, and then friday again they never showed up. We had to request towels at least so we could shower on those days they didn't come. If there's no service, it really becomes a question of why stay here instead of any other air B&B?
Overall I had a good enough experience but I don't think I'll stay at this resort in the future, and definitely would only consider staying if specifically room 735 was available.
