We enjoyed a lovely week here, our room was well appointed including a small balcony, an excellent shower and a Nespresso coffee machine for which replacement pods came daily. Everywhere in the hotel is cleaned regularly to a high standard and all the staff we met were unfailingly cheerful and helpful. For most of our meals we sat outside in the small open but covered area, one of the best things about a holiday in the warmth and sunshine is being able to enjoy meals in the fresh air😊. There was a huge choice of delicious, well displayed ( and replenished) food for both breakfast and dinner including fresh fruit,a wide range of salads and cheeses in abundance which were great for me as a veggie. Hot food was also available including meat, fish and vegetables. The zucchini fritti and mozzarella sticks were great ❤️. We ate out on several evenings and enjoyed excellent Lebanese and Italian cooking. The latter was accompanied by music from the Jazz Festival where many folk were also having a great time. The local ferries along the coast depart adjacent to the hotel and were a pleasurable way to visit several other places. We would not hesitate to return to the Hotel Livvi and hope to do so. Thank you to everyone there for such a great holiday.

This hotel is a real gem, small, very clean lovely rooms. Staff are all very helpful, we went half board and cannot complain about the selection of food, very good selection, fresh, great choices and something for everyone to enjoy. Alcoholic drinks really aren’t expensive. Around the marina lots of restaurants and shops, very pretty around the small streets. The hotel isn’t really for children as not enough there for them, it’s really good for middle aged people or couples. We loved it, definitely go back. If you wanted the double sunbeds, you pay €45/€50 daily, included is a bottle of wine or carver, for, tea/coffee and tea and cakes. Personally I didn’t think it was worth it but still a lovely idea.

booked last minute, incredibly lucky to find this hotel, absolutely everything is fantastic, look no further, room overlooking marina, brilliant, pool are has access to sea for alternative swimming, the town is beautiful but quiet, one thing about hotel and the town, is it is definitely frequented by the older generation, which i am, but not mentally!

I had to select “terrible”because disgusting was not available and this is the word I want to use for the review of apartment 181. Situated on the ground floor overlooking the road and car park above a noisy garage/workshop, this accommodation is noisy, overlooked by passers by with no privacy or peace and quiet, rendering the tiny amount of outside space available unusable. Apartment 181 is not and never will be suitable for holiday makers.

Sat at the moment having lunch on our so called balcony. Overlooking the road and above where the workers congregate. Dump is not a description I use lightly. This place should not ever be let out to guests if the livvo hotel wants to keep its reputation Self catering rooms 179/181 don’t bother You have been warned

We usually stay in the Lopesan Costa in Meloneras and opted for a change this year. After reading many good reviews we booked this hotel. There was one bad review in February from a single gentleman who described his room , room no 222 as tiny . We had emailed the hotel and asked if we could have a sea view room with a balcony and got a prompt reply offering us a sea view room with a juliet balcony which we said would be fine. However on arrival we were allocated room 222. When we discussed our concerns to the lady on reception she seemed to find it amusing saying it was not a small room and in fact we had been upgraded to this room . She was not willing to give us another room. On inspection room no 222 was indeed a small room which could be clearly seen on the hotel floor plan in every room. It had two single beds squeezed into an alcove with a single bedside shelf in between them. There was an adjoining door into the room next door. It did have a full balcony with a wonderful view of the cliffs, beach and the sea. My husband went back to reception and spoke to another lady on reception but was told the hotel was fully booked for the duration of our stay. We had noticed an unpleasant smell in the room from the drains and left the patio doors open when we went out hoping the smell would clear. However on returning several hours later the smell was still evident so we contacted reception and within half an hour a technician had come to the room and agreed with us there was a bad smell coming from the drain under the sink. It did improve after his visit but despite sleeping with the patio doors open all night the smell was still there in the morning . On our way to breakfast we spoke to Raquel and requested something be done about the smell. Raquel was very helpful and offered us a different room at the other side of the hotel overlooking the marina which we were delighted to accept. This room had a juliet balcony, was much larger with two single beds , two bedside tables and much more circulation space and room for our suitcases. We also received a complimentary bottle of red wine which was left in our room. The lady on reception who was our first contact on arrival and insisted room 222 was not a small room checked with us on several occasions throughout our stay to ask if we were happy in the new room. We did enjoy staying at the hotel in the larger room and although the room was positioned above a restaurant we were not disturbed by noise at all. The location of the hotel is excellent, so convenient to cafes, bars shops and the boats. My husband really appreciated being able to swim in the sea from the hotel steps and I used the pool daily. The access to the pool is via ladders which may have prevented more people from using it. We had no trouble accessing sun beds . Breakfast and dinner were from a buffet with some freshly cooked items on request. The choice of food was very good but the hot food at dinner was sometimes luke warm . We used

I wrote to the Manager one week ago but have not had the decency of a reply. I said I would not write a public review, but am forced to do so. We had to carry our luggage about 300m from roundabout, with no help from hotel . No concierge, and no porter! I paid for a de luxe double with balcony and sea view, but was put in a tiny room with two single beds squeezed in (room 222 ). On complaining I was told as I was a singleton it should suffice. After being told various inaccuracies, other rooms which I inspected were large and as booked and paid for. I have travelled widely and stayed in many fine hotels, but never before been made to pay in full on arrival. That is suggesting mistrust and insulting. After 2 nights I was moved to a ground floor room, 117, where I could enjoy the noise of staff, bins, deliveries etc from 7am. It was a nice room facing marina I was promised a reduction for 2 nights in 222, but this was refused on checkout. Twice I was told Manger was not in and only arrives after 11am. The hotel is a dream location and has great potential, but front desk attitude from certain staff is appalling. There are many other minor issues, and very annoying that guests were allowed to reserve sunbeds long before they needed them and against hotel policy.

My daughter and I returned yesterday from a blissful week here. Perfectly positioned with stunning views the hotel has spacious rooms and stylish communal areas. Staff are all friendly and everywhere is kept spotless. Wide variety of food served in a dining room directly overlooking the ocean with more spectacular views. The pool area also has direct access to the sea which is fun! Perhaps the best kept secret is the roof bar complete with nepalese beds and loungers - a perfect spot for early evening cocktails watching the sunset with panoramic views over the marina. The only thing that could be improved upon is perhaps this should be an adults only hotel - it isn't really suitable for children anyway given the size and style of the pool area and we both felt that unfortunately restless young children did spoil the peaceful environment at times. We had purposely avoided a hotel with an obvious children's area and also booking during half term for this reason - maximum relaxation! Overall a fabulous place to stay and we definitely plan to return. The staff and views make it special.

We opted for a self catering apartment and were very happy . The apartments are rated 3 star the hotel is 4 star. You can opt for breakfast only or half board when staying in apartments and this gives you access to the 4 star hotel pool and facilities which were very contemporary and worth it i would select this option if returning as the hotel had direct access to the sea. We booked a complimentary room in the hotel when we checked out of the apartment and noted the hotel rooms are excellent with modern art work lovely bathrooms huge shower and reception staff were helpful thoughout the stay. The apartments are typical 3 star no frills but very roomy and clean we had clean towels every other day. The apartments have access to a private roof terrace and a lovely small pool with jacuzzi. The apartments are set in a fantastic location around the marina we walked out the front door and straight into the marina some faced onto the town which I would not have liked as much We had a terrace which looked onto a tropical garden very nice. Apartment had good quality hair dryer iron and kitchen ware . We had a full English at Maria's the complex pool bar it was spot on. The resort is breathtaking and charming ideal for a low key get away we spent most days mulling around the marina and having tapas there is an abundance of excellent restaurants its a quiet resort not much nightlife but that suited us and no hassle from people trying to sell you things. The beach is nice people took there own chairs ect there were loungers if you wanted to hire them the sea was warm and in a lagoon shape loads of fish . A week to 10days is long enough here and we went on a couple of trips las palmas the capital was disappointing and we went on a boat trip that we booked in the marina which was good but probably could have got it cheaper if we could be bothered to shop around. I'd defiantly recommend this place for a relaxing holiday in lovely safe surroundings good food weather and lovely people who leave you alone
