Quality Inn Grand Junction Near University

Grand Junction|2.27km from Faith Heights Church
If you are looking for a place to spend the night that is just off the interstate, has staff that will ignore you and quote you pricing that they will not honor, then this is the place for you. During my week's stay here, never saw maid service. The breakfast consists of a wonderful buffet of bland scrambled eggs, hard link sausage, brick biscuits paired with cold white gravy. Should you require the services of the Hotel Manager, you will be introduced to Rick (Rich?), not sure because when your heart is so full of disdain, you tend to mumble. Rick is above giving any kind of service to guests, he spends his time angry that you are there taking up his valuble time that he could be using to be the new Bill Lumberg in the sequel to Office Space. Should you experience a question in billing, Mr Rick, will never return a call if you are lucky enough to actually get through to him consider changing your travel destination to Las Vegas, because you my friend, are LUCKY! He will then tell you after you explain the issue that; 'I am the owner and sign my own checks, so please no longer darken my door as I am busy torturing small animals to assist you in your petty problems' or something similar. (It was difficult to hear him on the phone with all the mumbling and what I suspect was midget porn in the background) There are WAY TOO many options on Horizon Drive to waste your time with this hotel, it is my opinion that you seek one of those that value you as a customer. This one clearly does not, at least that was my experience

Super 8 by Wyndham Grand Junction Colorado

This simple motel offered a clean quiet room, effecient service, and a comfortable stay. I did not try breakfast, but it looked like a typical motel offering. The staff seemed friendly and I will certainly stay here again.

The parking lot is large, accessible at a high speed, but not noisy. The front desk will give the Double Tree Hotel special welcome cookies. delicious. Two hours from Arches National Park. For a day trip to the arch, it is recommended to take the first few attractions such as the balance stone, double zero, and eye for fun, and not tired to walk. Do not go to the scenic arch viewing point behind, but climb the slope, and the upper and lower viewing points are not clear. **The garden time is not enough and we did not play.

The location was pleasant, each room has their own balcony or patio. The breakfast was the usual continental fare, but I appreciated the staff’s efforts in making sure any messes were immediately cleaned and guests were assisted. One minor complaint I had was the internet, it seemed spotty at times as the connection was not the greatest during a Zoom call for a business meeting. Otherwise, I slept well.
Clarion Inn Grand Junction

We arrived around 11pm for a one night stay after a late flight. The check in was easy and the desk agent gave good directions (with a a map) to our room. The layout is strange, but the map helped a lot. The room was clean and comfortable for a good night's rest. The hallway had a musty smell, but it wasn't overwhelming. On our way to breakfast the next morning, the smell of the indoor pool was overwhelming, though. Plenty of chemicals in there for sure! The breakfast itself was a good selection of hot and cold foods. Everyone in our family found plenty to eat. The proximity to the airport is good, and we would stay again if arriving at GJT late.
Holiday Inn & Suites Grand Junction-Airport

The Holiday Inn Grand Junction has a good location but is more than worn-out. It's below the quality you expect from Holiday Inn. Trash in public trash receptacles on each floor were overflowing with trash and not removed for two days. Carpet in the hallways was held together with staples. Furniture had significant stains. The TV more than 10 years old. Extensively damaged and scratched furniture in guest rooms. Almost no accessible electrical outlets to charge devices. No USB outlets. No laundry bag in closet and no dry cleaning service offered. Toiletries were a mixture of different brands. $8 parking charge for an open and unsecured parking lot. The equipment in the gym is two or three generations outdated. IHG elite status recognition nonexistent. Supposedly, there is an airport shuttle but I never saw the shuttle operate. Staff were pleasant and polite, though they seemed young and not terribly experienced. Despite being seriously worn-out, my room was clean. The food at breakfast and dinner was actually better than expected. Breakfast starts at 6 a.m. every day, which is appreciated.

My sister and I stayed at the Grand Vista hotel in G.J. Colorado and it was the best nights sleep I have had in ages. The hotel was clean and the staff were excellent! I will stay there on another trip. We did not eat there because of time but the restaurant looks good and I will make it a mission to enjoy that next time.
