OYO Hotel Groesbeck

Run!!!!! Choose a different hotel choose and a different location. Whatever you do not book with this hotel. This hotel is a SCAM!! Do not do it!!! Not worth it!!!!! This OYO made me lose over $400 out of pocket Hotel does not have any of the amenities: NO cable NO WIFI Very run down and dirty Hotel will do nothing but give you a generic customer service number to waste your time. They will cancel your room and then tell you to call customer service and then give you a runaround for two hours and then tell you that you can rebook the room at Three times more. We didn’t find out they cancelled our booking until we drove 10 hours and were at the front desk to check in. They literally told us they cancelled the booking due to the difference they could make booking it with someone now (we booked a month in advance). Seriously DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! Seriously DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! Seriously DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! Seriously DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! Seriously DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! Seriously DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! Seriously DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! Besides the fact that i came home with bedbugs...there were dead crickets and roaches, sink and tub drains all drained slow, someones underwear in the parking lot, dirty/stained towels, stained mattresses, no bath mats, I could go on but you get the picture. We were limited on stay options bc of the festival in Mexia. I will never stay at another one of these no matter what the situation is or how limited ny options might be. Front desk lady was so sweet. They either do not have the money to keep up with repairs (missing all baseboards in ny room) or just don't care.

The bed sheets where dirty the room hadn't been clean we went to see about it they told us we could leave

The room had no telephone or alarm clock to set a wakeup call. Neither the sink or bathtub had stoppers installed. Therefore you cannot take a bath (shower only) or wash your face in water. The refrigerator had no water or drinks to purchase. The TV controls were poor and you had to trick them to get reception. The front desk was not open, to talk to someone you had to go to night window and knock on glass. offsetting rooms and above rooms had poor sound control and it was noisy .

The room was not clean at all, the tub held water and the toilet was absolutely discussing from top to bottom. Dead bugs on the floor, spider webs in the corner of the bathroom. The family that stayed up above us had a bunch of kids that stayed running around in the room, dropping things on the floor. I am a nurse with agency and worked 12 hours at night so I couldn’t get any rest. The price was reasonable.

Uncarpeted room. Dirty under both end tables besides bed. One big towel only with a one foot black stain. No iron and ironing board, coffee pot, ice on ice machine, closet and clothes hangers and especially, no continental breakfast.

need new towels, showers are dirty, toilet is a rocking chair, bed bugs.
