We stayed at Renaissance Guiyang five night total, and we loved the facilities especially the swimming pool our kids had great time. Room service is amazing and breakfast had variety choices Chinese and western, it meets our tastes. It was a short walk to some local shops and restaurants, which included a metro station and it was very easy to get an e-car too. There was even a robot that delivered complimentary bottled water, which was nice.
Just one down side, when we checked in at 6th of August, the receptionist seems not quite to know what she is doing, she had to call over colleagues to help with the check in process and refused to scan my marriot member card, which as a result I missed out on collecting three night's worth of reward points.

I had the buffet brunch at Renaissance 108 per person. The price/performance ratio was OK. The spicy chicken was amazing. Most of the other flavors were just OK. The rooftop on the executive floor 23 is the State Power Inves**ent Corporation. The swimming pool master must be praised. The two children were guarded throughout the swimming process, which was very reassuring.
There were too many people on May 5th, and the overall service was a bit behind, but everything else was good. Also, why can't Ctrip use Marriott's membership points? Can it be improved next time?
