Very new hotel. The room was big and very clean. Located in Gezira, less than 100 feet from the bus station, it is very convenient to Valletta and Sliema.

Hotel is brand new, opened in 2023. I liked its industrial decor with unfinished ceilings in the rooms. Room was of a good size and clean. We had a side sea view room on the upper floors but at the far end of the building from the sea. Thus, the direct view was more of a city view rather than the view to the bay along the street and over and through other balconies. There is a pool and sun terrace on the 14th floor with great views to Sliema and Valletta. Location Is good only a few steps from a bus stop (20 min to Valletta). Some 10 min walk to Sliema's shopping areas and ferry to Valletta, about 30 min on foot to St. Julians. Many of the "city view" rooms seem to face a shaft-like inner court where the opposite balcony is only a few metres away. Breakfast is nothing to write home about. At a first glance it looks plentiful, but there's room for improvement. A couple of types of bread, ham, salami or mortadella, one type of cheese, bacon, eggs in three different forms, fried potatoes, baked beans, yoghurt, fruit salad, cereals etc. The warm foods were usually only luke warm. Weak machine coffee and diluted juices.

Beautiful hotel built in 2023 ! Hotel has a modern appeal , nice sized bedrooms, beautiful balconies, lovely rooftop views and pool but seasonally closed ! Breakfast is free and has lots of options!Hotel is close to marina and tons of restaurants along the way !airport is only 12 mins way and cost 12 dollars with UBER ! Hotel staff members are super sweet especially front desk staff and my room attendant daisy who did an excellent job with housekeeping!I visited in January 2024 but Will definitely be back for the summertime to enjoy the lovely beaches and surroundings! Will choose Alavits hotel again it’s conveniently located and exceeded my expectations!

Absolutely brilliant stay! We were able to check in early which was amazing! Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and plenty to choose from. Location of the hotel is great, very close to promenade, restaurants and public transport. I would highly recommend it, I'll be back.

Very good rooms, the beds are super comfy and so large !! Clean, everything you need in room. The breakfast is rich and very good. Swimmingpool and bar on the rooftop was just amazing. The staff is nice.

Very bad experience with this hotel which is not recommended in any way! First of all the staff do not speak good English even the staff at the reception and the communication was difficult. They couldn't even help us to book a taxi. They are still fixing the hotel and there was a big noice from the construction from early morning until late afternoon. You couldnt sleep or relax. The towels were full of stains. The cleaning was to fix the bed and take the rubbish out. When one day I asked them to change the sheets and clean the room more the housemaids asked the help of a maintenance man!!! He cleaned the toilet and brought the "clean" towels. We asked them for an iron and it took them more than two hours to find an iron board which was broken!!!!! When we went to the swimming pool we asked for towels and they told us that they are waiting to be washed and they will have them in an hour. In the fridge there was not even a small bottle of water. The hotel needs to train the staff better and hire profesionals who knows the meaning of hospitality. Very unpleasant stay

Suggests hotel was "fully open" and website states pool bar and evening dining available - neither was the case. Particularly peeved that the pool area is closed off in the evening (and presumably wouldn't be if the bar were open), and could therefore not use roof for any of the festival watching! Also caters for groups (of youngsters) so some noise should be exoected!

The hotel opened only a couple of days before I stayed there. The room I stayed in was quite modern in its decoration. The bed was very comfortable and other amenities like TV, fridge (no mini-bar) and safe are avilable. Staff was very friendly and acommodating, any minor glitches were quickly taken care of. Breakfast buffet is in the lobby area and has a satisfying selection of fruits, cheeses and meats. There is a pool at the top floor that has quite a nice view over Gzira. I'd recommend to bring your own beverages as the selection in the cooler is limited. This is a hotel I will definitely return to next time I'm om Malta.
