The Pebble Bed and Breakfast

The Pebble B&B is wonderful! The home is beautifully appointed, very comfortable, and in a quiet area. Liz, the hostess, is very welcoming and very engaging. The breakfasts were delicious and healthy and the coffee was great. Our suite was luxurious with fine linens, fluffy and thick towels, and lovely toiletries. We were truly pampered.

The minute I walked into The Pebble, I felt like I was home. It is a beautifully decorated house, very warm, inviting and cozy. The bedroom was first class. Our first evening there, I asked Liz, the B&B owner, if she would be ok with us moving in! Liz and David are so welcoming, fun,helpful and accommodating. Breakfast, was amazing! David’s eggs Benedict were devine! You must ask about the story behind the name of the B&B; so beautiful and romantic. I would conclude in saying that this is by far, the best B&B i have ever stayed in!

This is a wonderful B&B. The home is lovely and Liz and David, the hosts, were warm, friendly, informative and great fun to talk with. Liz’s sense of style and her attention to detail made it a joy for my artist eyes. It was quiet, comfortable and a perfect stop on our Nova Scotia vacation.

The beauty and premium quality of every room and feature prompted me to conclude that perfectionists make a living by operating a B&B like The Peebles. Every detail reflected care, attention and good taste. And the breakfasts were delightful.

What a wonderful experience my husband and I had at the Pebble. Liz was a gracious host. Breakfasts were delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Bedroom was roomy, quiet, comfortable and the whole house beautifully furnished. We spent 3 nights there and were sorry to leave. If we go back I know just where to stay. Beautifully decorated and elegantly furnished. Immaculate; clean. Healthy and delicious breakfast; organic oatmeal to poached eggs, hollandaise sauce, smoked salmon, bacon, asparagus......... and of course homemade scones!! All in all Liz has attention to every detail. Do not forget to ask Liz about the history of how B&B got its name; Pebble. Both Liz and David are great hosts. Memorable experience.

Calling this place perfect is an understatement! The house is lovely -water views, beautiful patio, painstakingly landscaped, welcoming, comfortable and well appointed rooms, locally sourced food for breakfast and exceptionally clean. As if that isn’t enough, the Irish hosts, Liz and David, are just delightful! Their kindness and warmth are genuine, and their house reflects reflects their personalities. Highly recommend!!

The Pebble is the best B&B we’ve ever stayed in. The location is beautiful, steps away from the Northwest Arm, where small sailboats and canoes cruise the placid waters. The neighborhood is quiet, leafy, and walkable. The home is elegant and tastefully designed with welcoming common rooms and spacious bedrooms. And it’s perfectly located, close to downtown and providing easy access to highways leading to fun daytime excursions. Breakfasts are delicious and thoughtfully made in consultation with guests. However, the most special aspect of our 6-night stay was getting to know our remarkable hosts, Elizabeth and David. Guests are the lucky beneficiaries of their extensive experience in the hospitality industry, but first and foremost is the warmth and genuine care they exude from the moment you walk in the door. If you want privacy, they will insure you have it. If you want to get to know two of the nicest, friendliest and most fun couples you’ll ever encounter in your travels, they are there for you. They offer great tips for hiking, kayaking, restaurants and whatever activities you desire. “They aim to please” is an understatement. They do it not just because they strive (and succeed) to be the best hosts, but because being a good soul is what defines Elizabeth and David. When you look up “personality” in the dictionary, their smiling faces look back at you. If The Pebble isn’t available when you’re planning your visit, your best option is to change your dates and rearrange your plans so you don’t miss out on this uniquely wonderful experience.
