Beautifully designed and so welcoming. We had unseasonably cold weather and the staff were amazing - logs for the fire, bought us hot water bottles. Loved the touches like the communal living room with roaring fire, port and honesty bar. Breakfast was AMAZING - for both adults and kids alike! Highly recommend

The location is excellent. The hotel is very well situated. Lovely setting. Rooms and bedding were very comfortable. We spent an afternoon with cocktails and snacks around the pool and will definitely return. By the way the Spa was an extra special treat.

We had a lovely stay at the Auberge Burgundy for 3 nights. This is our 3rd visit and this time we booked the room by the swimming pool. A lovely room with a small balcony overlooking the sea. This is the first time we have visited where the hotel now has its own cafe for breakfast.. This was excellent with great food and service.

Everything was very enjoyable. Great location, by the sea, near shops and restaurants Beautiful rooms. Lovely exterior. Fantastic breakfast. My only tiny caveat was that the coffee was too bitter for my personal taste.

Stayed with another couple for just one night and we all loved it. Felt like we were in Provence and far away from a town. Beautifully appointed rooms and a superb breakfast just a minutes walk away. I would have no hesitation in booking here again.

Our room in Auberge Burgundy was large and extremely comfortable. We faced the street in front, with quite a nice view from our balcony. We loved the town of Hermanus and loved the spectacular oceanfront walking path. The only problem was that a large bus parked right in front of the hotel and sat idling for a very long time, so that we had to keep our window closed to keep out the fumes and noise as long as it was parked there. Never-the-less we very much enjoyed our stay there and would would recommend staying here. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was great.

What a gem! Tucked just off the seafront near shops and restaurants this French style hotel delivers charm and service. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. As you would expect the room had French vibes with the combination of decor and small balcony which looked over the delightful plant filled courtyard. A delicious breakfast was served in their busy Frances restaurant with the buffet being regularly replenished. It was a shame that we had only booked for one night.

It’s a sweet inn on the street. But I feel it needs some love. The room was a bit shabby for the price we paid. And the cold water tap came off in my hand, with the water shooting out the wall straight at me. But the location is perfect. And the staff incredible. Really fabulous. The breakfasts are brilliant. And the spa treatment surpassed all expectations. So tricky to review as it was great and average.
