"Small hotel almost in the center of Hitzacker (2 min walk). It is a small hotel with everything you need for a short business stay. Okay, there is free WiFi, but in the room where I stayed, the signal was quite weak. That can be frustrating, if you want to work there and need a good connection. The rooms are a bit rustic and the bathroom is okay, although that shower curtain needs some work. Everything is very clean. The breakfast is also complete but basic. Although I did miss a regular wheat sandwich and a slice of fried bacon. The staff is extremely friendly. In the same building is also Janemanns Restaurant, but that is only open Fri, Sat, Sun and Mon."

"I have booked the hotel spontaneously for a short time and I am very satisfied with my choice! It has come something in years, some corners really need a renovation ....aber: very comfortable! The room facilities are a colorful 90-ger years mix. Not everyone likes this, so be prepared for it. But if you don't want to look for a Schickimicki hotel but simply want to give a nice time, then you are right here. Benefits: - most rooms with balcony, - free safe on the room, - very nicely located with beautiful indoor courtyard (small dam, lifting chairs etc.), - swimming pool from 07.oo morning to 22.oo hour, free for hotel guests, - Whirlpool free in the swimming pool, - from 16.oo hour steam bath and sauna free, - various beauty treatments for pay at the site (very recommendable!), - at half-pension very nice selection of various foods including. Fish, - very careful, friendly staff. - a nice, varied breakfast buffet. - Animal friendly I could list more here than I really liked it here. But everyone must know for themselves what he likes and what he doesn't like. I see a disadvantage or some difficulty here, but the hotel cannot do anything for it. Hetzacker is very hilly located. So if you have a limited mobility, the hotel may not really be the first choice. The hotel is going down to the city centre rather sharply. Partly it is 13° elevation with many steps - so nothing for people with disabilities. All in all - should I travel to the hotzacker again - I definitely book a room again here.
