The star system is only good for casual foreign travellers, applicable only when judging amenities or provisions. My review here id for those who have travelled frequently to this city, and for those who seek conveniences when staying in HCM city for linger than a week. First off, there are 3 different rooms. Small room e no windows, large w 2 quuen beds, and large with 1 king. All the reviews before mine have some truth depending on one's personal experience. But if one is to evaluate this mini hotel on the category it belongs, then it should immediately stand out. For example, for as little as $19, you get to stay within few hundred meters to all the major points like Central Park, Old Presidential Palace, and Ben Thanh Market, where all the other hotels charge 3 to 8 times as much. Another point to consider is the transportation. One can cross the street to find a major bus connection transfer that can take people to anywhere else within city limits and beyond. Further more, a taxi ride to the airport merely costs $7. The staff do speak some English if you're a little patient. That said, the manager has some serious connections to travel industry if one wants something done. If one needs to stay longer than 2 weeks, discount rate is available. Look beyond the star system and you will find this place irrufetable bargain.

The hotel is located in a very good location, right in the center of District 1, easy to move to other locations. The room is quite bad although the price is not very cheap. The room is old, dark, quite dusty, inadequate facilities. Faulty air conditioner. After changing to another room, the bathroom door was broken and could not be closed. In a room with 2 beds but not comfortable. The WC is next to the bed, the toilet door is not close, so it is extremely inconvenient. I'm too afraid to go heavy. Daily water is normal spring water, not branded spring water. Bored different
