The Waterman was a lovely place to stay. The interior was very well designed, beautiful and dpacious. We were made to feel very welcome. The area is superb.

Terrific location, clean, and comfortable. No issues with the booking or communication with property management. A bit noisy on Friday & Saturday nights, but that’s to be expected based on location being around pubs/bars/restaurants. Didn’t bother me as I wanted to be centrally located in walking distance to venues.

Well positioned- right in Salamanca Square, Waterman’s has the potential to be a 10/10 when new management completes the refresh. Management very friendly and responsive during stay.
Very basic kitchen/ cooking supplies provided. Suggest reconsidering staying here if ability to cook meals is important during your stay. Great bath but cleanliness could be improved.
Note: check with management if works are occurring during your stay.

Hair in the bathtub and toilet.
Very thick dust coating all surfaces.
Mould in bathroom.
Excessively noisey to early hours of morning as rear rooms face alley bar. Front rooms no better as they are above pub.
No lift.
No air conditioning.
No confirmation email sent of booking. Received text day of booking 2 hours prior to check in. No staff at property /onsite.
Vast difference to moss hotel next door. Would not rebook at waterman.

Great location but parking is a bit of an issue for long stay ( not the hotel issue just an fyi).
The room “Collins” was tired and could do wit a deep clean. There was a previous visitor old sock on the floor, not all lights worked.

Charming historic building. Very spacious and comfortable. Easy to self check-in. I'd recommend using the fan for air circulation. Shower tap was broken and not intuitive to use but we figured it out.
