Great location with convenient transportation. The bed was a bit small, but the service was excellent.

Staying at this hotel near Harbour City for my trip to Hong Kong was a great choice. The location is super convenient, right inside the mall, making getting around a breeze. We didn't opt for the hotel breakfast as we ate out every day. Hong Kong rooms are generally small, but this hotel's room was actually quite spacious. When we arrived, the room was very damp, possibly due to the weather. After speaking with the front desk, they promptly moved us to another room and even provided a dehumidifier.

The bathroom was quite nice; as soon as you entered, there was a bright shower area and toilet. It was also very thoughtful to have a wooden stool by the vanity. The room lighting could be better. The front desk staff had a good attitude.

Booked three rooms, and the last one was upgraded to a suite. Thank you. The living room is spacious, and the room has three air conditioners that provide excellent cooling. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, plus a bathtub. It was a very comfortable stay. I've chosen this place multiple times due to its location and service. Highly recommended.

The Gateway Hotel truly boasts a prime location, backing directly onto Harbour City. You can step right into the mall for shopping, dining, and enjoying the sea view without even crossing a street. This means you're completely unaffected by wind or rain, making it incredibly convenient to get around – a huge plus. Considering its excellent location, the price point of around 1,000 HKD offers decent value for money. The rooms are more spacious than many other hotels in the same area, so they don't feel cramped. I even got a complimentary upgrade to an executive floor this time, which significantly improved the amenities and overall comfort of my stay. However, the hotel does have some noticeable drawbacks. It's an older property, so the facilities are showing their age, and the decor feels quite dated. The biggest issue affecting my rest was the air conditioning; it was quite noisy when running, especially noticeable in the quiet of the night. This could be bothersome for light sleepers.

The hotel's location is excellent, right inside Harbour City and just a block away from the MTR station, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere. The room wasn't old at all and was quite spacious for Hong Kong standards. The staff, including the front desk agents and the cleaning lady, were all very friendly, and I didn't feel any discrimination. Communication in Mandarin was also smooth.

The location is super convenient! It's about 500-600 meters from the Tsim Sha Tsui East MTR station. From there, you can hop on the Tsuen Wan Line directly to popular spots like Mong Kok, Yau Ma Tei, and Central. Once you're in Central, you can easily transfer to trains heading towards Kennedy Town, or even Wan Chai, Causeway Bay, and Tin Hau. If you don't feel like taking the MTR back to the hotel, you can just head to the nearest pier and catch the Star Ferry right back to Tsim Sha Tsui.

The location is absolutely fantastic! We could shop downstairs, drop our bags back at the hotel, and then head out again. The room size was perfect for two people; we had plenty of space to open our suitcases. The bedding was really comfortable too, and we slept very well. The only minor downside is that sometimes the cars 'racing' downstairs can be a bit noisy – not sure if that's part of the Hong Kong vibe, haha.

The room had quite a bit of dust, and the bed felt like it was sinking, especially in the middle. I'd suggest replacing the mattress. On the other hand, the service was excellent, particularly the concierge who was very helpful with taxi arrangements.
