Hot Springs Hotels in Shima

Although the hotel has a history of decades, it has been newly renovated and the facilities are very new. Now run by a couple, dinner and breakfast are great and worth recommending. The rooms are all facing the sea and you can watch the sunrise in the room in the morning. The windows of the room are very soundproof, so don't worry about the sound of the waves affecting sleep. Although the hot spring is not big, the open-air hot spring is also facing the sea and the scenery is great!

I have two feelings about this stay. 1. The photo posted by this website was a lie - the room was very different to the reality. For a start there was no in room onsen and that had been a major factor in me making this booking. I was really disappointed on arrival. 2. However it has to be said the staff are fabulous, the food excellent and everything about the place shows a tremendous attention to detail. After a lovely long soak in the Onsen available to guests and a fabulous dinner my mood was quite recovered. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for someone looking for a luxurious retreat and plan to return myself.

This was my first Aman experience with my mom. We departed from Tokyo and it was pretty smooth. The hotel provided pick-up and drop-off. I highly recommend booking a half-day pearl diving experience and Ama hut with the hotel. The hot spring and infinity pool were also super perfect. The service was even better. Very Japanese wood made hotel and price with dinner and breakfast is a bargain. The hot spring bath is big plus. Make sure to check in before too dark as no street lights to the hotel. Beautiful water front for all day and evening. Great services. Rooms are much larger than those in the city Nagoya.
