I have two feelings about this stay. 1. The photo posted by this website was a lie - the room was very different to the reality. For a start there was no in room onsen and that had been a major factor in me making this booking. I was really disappointed on arrival. 2. However it has to be said the staff are fabulous, the food excellent and everything about the place shows a tremendous attention to detail. After a lovely long soak in the Onsen available to guests and a fabulous dinner my mood was quite recovered. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for someone looking for a luxurious retreat and plan to return myself.

Stayed here for five days, it is too beautiful to say, the boss and the proprietress are super good, the scenery is charming. This was my first Aman experience with my mom. We departed from Tokyo and it was pretty smooth. The hotel provided pick-up and drop-off. I highly recommend booking a half-day pearl diving experience and Ama hut with the hotel. The hot spring and infinity pool were also super perfect. The service was even better. I also encountered a lot of wild bayberry trees growing in the hotel while riding my bike. They were pollution-free and pesticide-free. I had a lot of fun picking them with my mom! It was a very unforgettable two nights. I loved staying there. There happened to be fireworks on the two days I stayed. I was so happy.

Very Japanese wood made hotel and price with dinner and breakfast is a bargain. The hot spring bath is big plus. Make sure to check in before too dark as no street lights to the hotel. Beautiful water front for all day and evening. Great services. Rooms are much larger than those in the city Nagoya.
