So-so, the hotel is relatively old, the aisles and lobby smell, and the air conditioner in the room is very loud

I’ve stayed at this hotel at least 5-6 times and it’s always been a favorite go to for the price, comfort and service. But it’s steadily gone downhill and this time the single elevator was broken the entire stay. I heard from others it had been broken nearly 2 weeks or longer. Logging a suitcase and other luggage up and down 3 flights of stairs repeatedly is not what I expect from a Westin property. In other ways it’s also gone downhill- no ice machines, only one set of silverware and one mug in the room, no wine glass, etc. Not sure I will stay here again.

Nice room, very nice people working there. Breakfast a disaster, sorry to say. Most of the equipment in the fitness room was broken, seems they do not care so much about that. 1 out of 3 treadmills partly working, none out of the 2 ellipse was working.

The property and amenities are good in perfect condition and very clean. The only problem is the sofa bed mattress, God this was really damaged and is inhumane to lay down, the springs push. I recommend to change. It could be a great suite because has privacy with the master room aside.

The only two gripes i have was that the shower curtain liner was dirty and the breakfast was subpar but the rest was great.

Breakfast Buffet was ice cold all three mornings. Plug in restroom did not work.

Window shades did not cover the entire window. Could not get to sleep because of the amount of light coming in from the parking lot. Hotel said they could not switch me to a different room because the property was booked through ******* and not them.

We came back to stay at the Element because of the outstanding customer service we have received during now, our past 3 stays. My daughter is a cancer patient at MDA & Catherine is truly the main reason why we keep coming back to the Element. I wish all employees provided the quality of customer service & care that Catherine does! Catherine should be your ambassador for the Element Hotel…she’s the best!!!

Very nice, unhurried environment. Easy access and convenient to the Katy area.

Way too high priced for what it was. Broken plaster in the shower ceiling; electrical outlet for the coffee maker did not work. Room was plain and ordinary for the price.

Very nice hotel. Lovely, large room. All staff extremely friendly and happy, especially Catherine at the front desk. Coffee maker was a little recalcitrant, and the GFI outlet in the bath didn't work. We survived. Nice little bar. Breakfast was fine. Not overwhelming, but more than adequate. A lovely 2-night getaway.

The hot air smells of burning, the phone in the room is not working, and no one answers the front desk when calling the mobile phone

Staff was super friendly, room was clean and spacious.
