The Standard, Hua Hin

The Hotel is beautiful with lovely well maintained grounds positioned on the sea front. It is certainly of a standard that is hard to beat. The staff have obviously been very well picked to provide a good friendly service throughout the hotel. Breakfast was varied and to a high standard with both western and Thai food and the restaurant was positioned by the pool on the sea front. There are several bars in the grounds and a fully furnished gym with dressing rooms, lockers and shower facilities. There are bungalows on the premises plus larger blocks with very well presented modern rooms with excellent showers and good quality wash products. There is also a nice balcony complete with 2 chairs and table. The beds are comfortable with good linen and the lovely thick towels were changed twice daily. Air conditioning was good also and for once there was no problem with the door keys which you find in some hotels. The lifts were quick which was good as we were on the 6th floor. The pool area has many comfortable sun loungers of different types and seats which are also on the grass plus positioned around the pool. The pool itself however was not as large as it first appeared to be. You need to enter the pool very carefully as there are no hand rails and the steps are slippy. Half of the pool is taken up by the steps so there is only half to actually swim in. There are 3 steps then a gap of 3 feet so you think you have reached the bottom but then more steps which are hard to see as the tiles are all blue. This is a fantastic Hotel however and we will certainly be returning.

Stayed here for 2 nights, very impressed, booked through Agoda, more than 700 per night here, good location, only 1 meter away from Hua Hin Night Market, in front of the van and tour bus queue to and from Mo Chit and Sai Tai, very convenient. And a minibus queue to Khao Takiab It's very easy to walk to find food at the night market. There is 1 in front as well, or you can walk across the road from the night market into Soi Hua Hin 55, not far to the sea, clean rooms like a mansion, clean rooms, pillows, blankets, soft towels, hotel style, no musty smell. Swimming pool clean When going to the pool, turn off the jacuzzi machine. Therefore walked to tell the staff to open it for The housekeeper section Easy, well maintained, but the reception rarely smiles, but there is no ** The room does not have a drive with a small head towel and pool towels provided. I don't know, ask for more, will it lose money? Overall, if coming to Hua Hin, do not stick to find a hotel next to the beach, want to be close to food, night market, bus queue, van and train station near the hotel. Many famous food Budget shop with a swimming pool, less than a thousand, come here, there is a parking lot as well, but may not be much. The downside here is 1. There is no elevator and porter. If you find a room on the 3rd floor, you have to lift it up by yourself. 2. White plastic beach chairs and chairs set in an old and stains. 3. The bathroom does not have a holding shower, but use The black lotus is expensive, square like Rain Shower, the water is sloppy. But the water flows well. 4. The bathroom floor in the toilet bowl has no drain pipe. If the water spray is not cleaned well The water will flow out, mess up the floor at the bottom sink and flow into the shower floor !! 5. Stay in room 1, floor 3, base of the tap at the sink, when opening, there will be a lot of water flowing until it reaches the tile floor 4. Old air conditioner, noisy, but acceptable.

Arrived Hua Hin a day earlier than expected date, so I had to stay in a room for one day before moving to the hotel which I had pre-booked. Started walking from the Train station. Checked 3,4 hotels on the way. Their prices were from 1300 - 1600 baht/day for triple bedroom. Then I reached this place. The owner offered me 600 baht/day for the family room with AC, which I happily agreed. Upon check-in, I was amazed at the size of the room. It was so big. It had one double bed, one single bed, and one bunk bed. More than enough for my family. The owner was so friendly and the first one with whom I could speak in English. The location of the hotel was also excellent. 2 min walk to Night market. The Green songte-o also runs from the front of this hotel, which takes you to Market village, Bus station and Khao Takiab. If I had not pre-booked other hotel for remaining days, I would have certainly stayed here for the remaining days. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

I set 65rmb/night during the peak of the Songkran Festival, and 110rmb/night at the same time. Generally speaking, compared to the other, it is worth the fare. Address location: It is directly in the night market. When I leave, if I have to go back to Bangkok by my own mini bus, the fare is 200 baht, and I have to go to the station by myself. If the boss makes a phone call and gets on the bus directly at the gate of the Youth Hostel, it is only 180 baht. Hua Hin-Bangkok Mochi, I decisively chose the latter. Sleep experience: Sleeping is very comfortable, because the quilt is more thick, suitable for our Chinese, a few days ago, the opposite is his inn, there is a blanket thinner than the bath towel, cold in the middle of the night. This house will not be too cold. The surrounding feeling of the bed is stronger. Sleep is good. Disadvantages: There is no concealer curtain. Fortunately, I brought my own ultra-thin beach cloth in China, and I just picked it up to cover the shame. Birds can be heard outside the window. The air conditioner is very low. Washing experience: 4 bathrooms, 4 toilets, there are clothes rails in the bathroom, the distance is just not wet. The water temperature is very good, it is small gas, hot water is available at any time. You can also look in the mirror in the bath, there is a shower gel shampoo area, and they also provide a large bottle of shower gel brand in the supermarket. The brushing area is outside the bathroom and does not disturb each other. The storage cabinet (7-11 the lock sold in the supermarket is about 17rmb/piece, I brought it from China) is at the door of each bathroom. Bath towels are not provided, I can use disposable bath towels in China for many days. I also prepared disposable slippers myself. They basically everyone upstairs and downstairs barefoot dumplings, inevitably there are granular I don't like, so I have already brought my own disposable slippers, very comfortable. Humanistic experience: The boss is fluent in Chinese ancestry and can speak English and Thai baht. The boss's father is very fluent in Chinese. His father came to Thailand from Guangdong Hakka in the past few generations. His mother is very beautiful, old and can see that it is the kind of beauty. The family is warm, smiling and kind. Plus points: someone on the roof meets for drinks and food. Food is bought at the night market or convenience store downstairs. The roof can dry clothes and there are hangers. There are biscuits, coffee, kitchen supplies in the public area for free. There are also books. It’s very good to take a taxi and buy food and drink. The place is relatively small, so the guests from all countries are very close, and they will basically say hello and chat socially. I met a German brother who traveled for four months and a graduate of the American Beauty University.

I liked it here, certainly a very comfortable residence in a nice location for shops and restaurants. Maybe about ten mins walk to the beach. First two nights I had the small single room which had a fan. It was perfect with the fan going and did not need a/c. Good value. Last night this room was booked so I used the dorm. This did have a/c and was also a good option. Showers are warm, everything clean. Owner is very pleasant plus the young Burmese girl also is very sweet and helpful. Can recommend wholeheartedly!

Very clean room and bathroom, excellent location in the city center !!! Simply perfect not expensive hotel as bed and breakfast to explore HuaHin city center . Definitely choose for our the next stay in the center . Very comfortable bed and good Aircon . Very friendly staff. We visited the temples around including Chinese temple for the new year and there is simply the best Thai food restaurant with long history . Just 5 minutes to walk , find the name of restaurant on photo attached to this review . It was the best Thai food we ever had in Thailand during our 2,5 years stay in this lovely country. Try Tom Yam seafood (not spicy) small portion is big enough for 2 people . Also rice with pineapple was delicious .

Hotel was spot on, not far away from the train station and very close to the beach. Ideal location- straight outside room there are bars and massage spots , lovely food places and a 7/11 👍🏻 Hotel staff are friendly and place is clean. free bottles of water as well as lotions in bathroom, the rooms are clean and spacious with a nice double bed. Round the corner there is a pool tucked away which didn't get busy so was nice to go on my own. Will deffo recommend and will return Total bargain for 399 baht
