My wife said don't go to the scenic spot, just stay in the hotel. 😓 It's very suitable for self-driving tours. It's 20 minutes away from Huangshan, but it's more than half cheaper than the foot of the mountain. Our destination, Emerald Valley, is ridiculously close to here. Quality and generous behavior. My child lost his thermos cup and helped me to send it back. I paid the postage but the boss refused to accept it. I was really embarrassed. Next to it is a small river with very clear water. The environment feels better than some hotels at the foot of the mountain. The breakfast is relatively simple, and you can add more if it's not enough. I just came back from climbing the mountain and I was not feeling well and wanted to eat something light. Overall, I still recommend it

It's a very good B&B. It's located in a new village five or six kilometers away from Tangkou. The landlady arranged to pick us up. We arrived very late and even drove us out to eat. The breakfast the next day was great and was delivered to the scenic spot. , you can ask her any questions you have on the way, and the next day she asked if you were going down the mountain and if you wanted to be picked up or dropped off.

I was so lucky to meet Yungu Villa in the misty April. When I was in college, I read a book about the history and culture of Huizhou in the library. I was attracted by Tang Xianzu's poem ”I have never dreamed of going to Huizhou in my life”. I longed to walk through the alleys of Jiangnan in the drizzle under the white walls of blue bricks and black tiles, and wanted to see if ”traveling from Huangshan and Baishan” was really worthy of its name. After many years, I finally made the trip. The scenery of Huangshan is definitely beautiful, but I misjudged my ability and the weather. I hiked down the mountain, and my knees and calves were like torture [covering my face]. Going up and down the mountain, the whole way was white and foggy, and it was lonely. The Yungu Hotel, located halfway up the mountain, is a perfect match for the scenery of the Qingming Festival. In the thick fog, you can hear the roar of the waterfall. After crossing a small bridge, you can vaguely see a house that suddenly appears. The strange smile of the stone boy looming in the bushes at the door, coupled with this color, really has a gloomy feeling of Liaozhai. I highly recommend this experience. It is lonely and cold, with winding paths leading to secluded places. Walking on a small path anywhere may lead to a Feng Shui treasure land for dividing gold and determining the location of the cave. Today, my whole body is sore and I have to give up the trip to the ancient villages of Huizhou and go home. A comfortable vacation journey will be left in beautiful photos. A trip to seek abuse is like practicing. This time may be a bit like practicing immortality. Only such a miserable experience will be unforgettable. I later learned that Tang Xianzu's poem was not about dreaming about Huizhou, but ”Everyone in this world yearns for the rich Huizhou, but for me, I have never even dreamed of it, so I don't want to go.” Although the meaning is misinterpreted, I am willing to say again that I dreamed of Huizhou.

Our room was upgraded and it was beautifully designed and clean. A warm bath was a very good treat after a hike down the mountains. Both dinner and breakfast were simple “家常” dishes but really delicious. Loved our short stay!
