Car park lighting still very poor - we have stayed here several times in recent years and numerous damaged light columns still not repaired. Normally a quite and peaceful stay but rudely awoken at 5am on second day of our recent stay by very noisy residents slamming doors and shouting for about 45mins. Did not appear to be any intervention by night-duty staff.
Standards slipping but otherwise fine.

We had a great stay here! The bed is huge, the shower is really nice and the room and facilities are clean and well designed. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Excellent hotel for short stays, we were visiting family, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms clean, spacious and comfortable. Tasty and generous portions food options, catering to all tastes. Value for money.

Breakfast buffet was not kept topped up/refreshed on a regular basis - had to wait some time for some of the hot items. Scrambled egg was cold.

The foreign receptionist spoke English well but failed to understand my questioning of why on two days the cleaner put the lights on in my room and left them on when whilst on booking in it was stated they were trying to save electricity hence the spare card for the electricity. Also I didn't get a clean large towel but four hand towels which she thought was alright. strange I gave up after that and didnt mention the cleaning

Lovely hotel, we had a view of the race course with the little lake in the middle and the sun setting over it which was lovely.
The room was clean, double bed was comfy, the sofa bed not so but the kids had that and they will sleep on practically anything so not a huge problem. Wouldn't be suitable for adults.
Free car park, no need to give your details in.
Breakfast was great, totally worth it!
Needed a safety pin for my dress and they had a little spare sewing kit.
The floor at the end of our bed was very creaky but not a huge problem.
In general very quiet and would definitely stay again if we were in the area
