We’ve just returned from our 3rd visit to this beautiful hotel. So much to write about! My friend and I have visited this hotel 3 times now. The main attraction for us is how beautiful the surroundings are and the magical view of the lagoon. We always stay in the lagoon bungalows. First of all, most, if not all staff are welcoming and friendly and will go above and beyond to make you feel relaxed. Our room was immaculately cleaned by Mahmoud who always had a smile and a lot of banter. He was keen to help us with anything we wanted and sorted our little *******. At the restaurant, food is varied and we always had something yummy to eat. Complements to the chef. The waiters were attentive but special mention goes to the hilarious Hossam and the new young lad, Ali. They always served us promptly and with smiles. At breakfast, Ali the man that does the eggs, was, though quiet, very polite and pleasant and the omelettes are to die for. If you’re looking for an activity packed holiday, the hotel is not for you. There’s minimal entertainment. We’ve only been during Ramadan so maybe that’s why. The rooms are beautiful but need a little tlc. We visited the new spa that has just opened and it was lovely. The ladies did a good job with the various treatments/massages. The spa doubles up as a club in the night. The area is perfect! It’s just a 5 minute walk to downtown where there’s lots of restaurants and shops. Overall, it was a pleasant holiday and we’ll be visiting again.
