Lovely holiday but did have some minor flaws.. will give an honest review. Single mother with two daughters ages 14 and 11 travelled on the 13th August. Arrived at approximately midday but the room wasn’t ready, we had a small half hour wait in reception whilst they cleaned our rooms. Didn’t book a sea view, wasn’t too bothered until I opened the curtains in the bedroom and was greeted by a sign saying “dick”. Hotel was opposite a run down closed pub called Moby Dick but only the dick on the sign was visible from our room. There was zero view. Stayed in a one bed apartment. Well equipped and spotless but there wasn’t much storage for your own things. No drawers to put anything in. Bedside tables were literally a table. No shelf, no drawers etc. Full sized fridge but it did have a mouldy cow and gate baby milk inside which was pushed right to the back and had been missed by the cleaners. Good sized towels in room that actually covered your body. Also smaller towels for hair and a separate bath mat. Beds were firm but comfortable. Air con was working and chilled the rooms adequately. Balcony was small and had a pull out clothes dryer on. Food was ok. A great mix at both breakfast and in the evening. BUT I found they didn’t replenish things quickly. Things ran out and topping things up took time. Set off arguments with kids as one wanted a chocolate brownie too! Pool bar during the day was great and we enjoyed all food bought there. Serves salads, burgers, toasted sandwiches, fries etc! Very tasty and well cooked. Top tip for around the pool - drinks in pool bar are expensive. I bought a 6can cool bag from home and used the hotel supermarket to buy cans. I kept the cans cool all day and worked out much cheaper than the pool bar drinks. The hotel supermarket was great. Cans of pop, beer, fresh food, breads, crisps, toiletries.. it was well stocked and just as cheap as other shops in the area. I tipped the ladies working there (they have a little too money box) and they were always helpful to me and the children. Kids club… lovely lady running it with a helpful man. Get the smaller kids involved and they work hard all day long. The lady is so caring towards the children. Entertainment is ok in the evening, usual bingo, singers, performers etc. we enjoyed it to be fair. Tends to finish at 10:30pm. There’s a mini disco from 20:30 for the little ones an and games. The pool - lovely and warm. I hate a freezing cold pool but this one was perfect. You’re allowed inflatables too. BUT please make yourself aware of the depths as we got caught out on the first day. Youngest fell off inflatable, panicked, pulled me under, I swallowed a huge amount of water, in my splashing around I somehow managed to pull down my 14 year olds bikini and then she started splashing. The pool goes deep in one area quite quickly and we weren’t prepared for it. I managed to rescue both kids and the lifeguard was sat under his pa
