Hills & Hues

One of the best resorts on kerala having a great ambience and friendly staffs. The food served is delicious. The main highlight of the resort is their infinity pool from where the family can watch the valley in the evening. The pool is not heated, though.

The stay experience was totally awesome. The location in fact had very nice and breathtaking views and atmosphere altogether. The pool was awesome and the restaurant also had different experiences. I suggest need more activities for the kids. Only 1 or 2 is there. Overall a nice and different experience we received from the staff. Very hospitable and trained staffs. Ms. Danya did a wonderful job from our check-in to checkout. I am very thankful to her. Also from the Restaurant staff was very friendly. The room was very neat and clean. I like the soap which they placed in the room. Thank you Hills and hues. Will surely recommend this resort of you are traveling to Thekkady.

We had a fantastic stay at this property. We stayed for two nights and we felt that was not enough to explore the property and Thekkady. We had a warm welcome at the reception. They gave us red roses ***** with dry ginger coffee and ginger candy. We felt a little odd when they served hot ginger coffee on a sunny day. Perhaps it's okay the other things we liked a lot. The check-in went really smoothly and Dhanya explained our package details and the other activities in and around Thekkady. She also escorted us to our room. The cottage room was cute and cozy. It was well cleaned by Gopu and Nagaraj. We really appreciate the effort taken by them. Their pool has an amazing view of Tamil Nadu as well as the restaurant. The ambience of the restaurant is nice and the staff are really helpful. They do have some in-house activities, it starts from evening 4. Sreerag took us to a view point in Tamilnadu and we saw Periyar Lake and ***galadevi mountain from there. The Tea tasting was a nice experience. The cooking demo was good but it was not an interactive section. It was really helpful if the chef explained the steps one by one. Unfortunately we couldn't attend the campfire. The next day we did nature walk, we were not able to book it through online and we informed the same in the reception then Dhanya arranged it and did the elephant shower. The reception staff went out to make our stay comfortable. We felt like home only. We are planning to visit here with our family very soon for a long stay. The best resort in Thekkady everywhere u will go in the property inside photo stud inthe property area. Amazing place. One of the best resorts i have been to. The views are breathtaking, especially if you take the kings liar , you get to wake up above the clouds. The restaurant food is excellent. Chef Ram and his team can also customize food to your liking.also special thanks to senthil, jiss, akhsay minhaj and navaneeth for taking care of us

My family, friends, and I had a memorable stay at the Hills and Hues Resort. The hospitality was top-notch, and the ambiance and location of the resort were outstanding. The wooden cottages offers beautiful views. The staff were pleasant and helpful, with a special mention to Ram and his crew for preparing delicious food. Also their thoughtfulness in packing some food for our journey due to our long travel after checkout was greatly appreciated.

This hotel is really lovely. The staff great you kindly and explain all about the services there. We had a beautiful room, with a lovely view across the hills. The food is of a good standard and reasonably priced. We enjoyed the pool (although a few more lounges/seating would be better). The games room was nice too. Unfortunately there is a lot of building work going on from 8.30-5.30pm, right outside in front of most of the balconies. I had come to this hotel for a relaxing stay, which wasn’t possible during the day (I believe building work is ongoing for at least a year). I also had problems with settling the bill, I was overcharged and it’s taken a month to resolve. During our 2 week stay in India this was our most disappointing stay.

Had a very relaxing stay at The Hills and Hues. Great hospitality and Service from Ram (Head Chef) and Senthil at the restaurant. We were very also surprised pleasantly on the last dinner with a delicious choco Oreo Cheesecake. Thank You and keep up the great work!
