Restaurant was good value and service we couldn’t fault. Service at check in was okay not overly friendly and same for the general store. If travelling for the area and having an early start good choice."

"We check in at 8pm ish. There is only 1 lady doing a waitress, reception, dishwashing etc. she’s an all in one. We manage to check in after she made herself free from mall her chores. The room was in a quiet location. You can do cooking in the room with their electric stove and pot is provided. Toilet is good size. Just that the screen doesn’t cover the shower area completely and the wc part get wet. We used their washing machine and paid through as app. We got like free credit for joining as a first user for both of us. The washing machine did not work well. We told the lady and she was very nice to allow us to use the hotel washing machine and help us to wash it as well. Overall we would recommend this lodging if you want somewhere quiet."

"The appearance of the hotel is quite new, in the center of the town, there are quite a lot of places to eat nearby, breakfast has meat, eggs, shellfish, bread, muffins, breakfast is a typical American breakfast. The room is old, especially the room on the first night, in the room on the first floor, the room is relatively small, there are many ants on the ground, the refrigerator will also climb into the ants, a bit disgusting. The next day I told the front desk about the situation and changed the room upstairs. The room was better than the first night. There were no ants, but there would still be a bug. Complain about the American air conditioner, it is noisy, not hot."

"** Dead Valley is a good night. House prices are much cheaper than in the scenic area, more than 30 miles to Death Valley. The front desk was very welcoming, but I went home after 8pm and needed self help. Come back at night, all 20 rooms are full. However, the surrounding area is basically deserted, because cafes no longer provide meals due to the small number of people. You can use the kitchen yourself. Outside, they have their own grilled BBQ. Stay overnight for a while. The room is like that, don't expect too much, it's old but clean."

My little daughter's socks turned black just from walking around inside. The water was hot enough with good pressure. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, toast, yogurt, almond milk, coffee, and fruit. The environment was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were very welcoming ❤️

Classic american motel, was great for our stopping point between vegas and yosemite. Friendly staff and had everything we needed in the room. Free parking available and restaurants next door. 4/5 for cleanliness due to floor leaving black marks.

Easy check in and check out process. Room is fitting for a solo traveller like myself. A couple will do well too for the room size. Breakfast was sufficient and the facilities was also enough. I used the laundry service, keep in mind there is only one dryer and one washing machine. I didn't have to wait. The heater/air cond was good and the room was quite clean. I think it was worth my money as I was on a budget. The microwave came in handy and the internet was very slow but I realised that I could switch to a different server then it was lightning speed, just a tip.

After leaving the east gate of Yosemite, it was getting late. After much deliberation, we decided to stay in Bishop. The town is not big and there are not many hotels. The hotel is not very new and the soundproofing is average, but everything else is OK.

In addition to expensive, there are no major shortcomings, the price of a small town is more expensive than San Francisco. The day before going to Yosemite, living in the town of Bithorpe was very convenient and not very expensive.
