"A historic hotel that provided ambience with a welcoming atmosphere. The hotels location provided plenty of options for food and necessities. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and provided exceptional service. We requested a room change which was promptly addressed and were very pleased with the new room. The 3rd floor pool area was very nice with plenty of loungers and clean towels. Although, a weekly noontime schedule to purchase beverages and food at the pool would have been welcomed. We would like to acknowledge exceptional and friendly service from Graciela F. and Adriana C. They made our stay very enjoyable! We will be returning in the future and would highly recommend the Pasadena Hotel!!"

"Arrived at 9 o'clock in the evening, and then checkin was in the service area on the first floor of the hotel (the breakfast area the next day). The service area was locked directly. There was a small window similar to the bank counter to submit the passport. The question that led us to ask if this area was not safe, and the answer was actually safe, and the bulletproof glass window was to prevent who.
The room is large, the facilities are very new, and the hygiene is very good, but because the window is facing the corridor, it is basically impossible to open, and the curtains have to be pulled. In fact, it is a motel."

The surrounding area is very safe, there is a relatively large Vons supermarket next to it, which is very convenient for shopping. Guest UserA very beautiful big house, it feels more like an airbnb homestay, not like a hotel, but it feels very special. The house is located in the wealthy area on the mountain. It is very luxurious. It is said that this house has a history of nearly 50 years, and the floor is covered. The patina is out. Usually when there are no guests, there will be a lot of sexy internet celebrities to pose for photos. The owner of the grandfather was very nice. He prepared breakfast for us in the morning. He knew that we were Chinese and would help us cook dumplings, watch TV on the cctv channel, recommend tourist routes, etc. He was very very enthusiastic and made us all embarrassed, toilet The two rooms are shared, but there is no one next door on the day we stayed, so it is equivalent to a private toilet. It's really great 👍

We are utterly smitten with Hotel Dena - it has exceeded all our expectations for an artistic, pristine, and laid-back boutique hotel.
The hotel was freshly renovated just last year, so every single amenity and piece of equipment is impressively modern. We were arranged in a first-floor ”small loft” room complete with a private balcony - undoubtedly one of the highlights of our entire trip.
The hotel's decor is nothing short of captivating, with a cinematic ambiance evident throughout the common areas. From the impeccably styled furniture to the mesmerizing artwork and paintings, every design element contributes to an utterly enchanting atmosphere.
In fact, I would unhesitatingly award Dena a rating of 6 out of 5 stars to fully convey my deep adoration for this establishment. If we're ever blessed with the opportunity to visit Los Angeles again, Dena will unquestionably be our top choice. 🌹🌹🌹

The hotel is in a great location. Pasadena is the old wealthy area of LA, with good public security and beautiful scenery. The hotel is located right in the old city center. You can check in the beautiful scenery of Pasadena in ten minutes. You can see St. Andrew's Cathedral when you open the window.
It is not too far from LA attractions. The airport is 30-40 minutes away by car without traffic jams, and Universal Studios is only 20 minutes away by car.

The business trip schedule changed, so I booked this hotel at short notice. The price was not low. I was a little surprised when I found it was a motel. Fortunately, after checking in, I felt that the hygiene was OK. It was relatively clean and I could drive my car to the door of the room. Overall, it was OK.

Breakfast in room, a $70 breakfast, they charged $6 for delivery, then added a 20% service charge, and topped it off with a $22 tip (the first two items weren't displayed when I signed for the tip). It seems like moving the breakfast from the kitchen to the room incurred three separate fees, adding over 40% to the bill just to get it done.

The hotel was very enjoyable. Delicious breakfasts, incredible waffles can be made on your own. Also there is coffee without coffee, it was very pleasant. The room is clean, comfortable, with hot water no problems. The guy on the recession is polite, the girl from the kitchen is very modest and kind.
There is a big parking lot.
There was one moment, there was a constant knock from my room, maybe it was drops from the air conditioner , it was very irritating. Saved only the beer at night so you could sleep.
