Isle of Skye Guest House

I’m pretty low maintenance, this was a nice spot to tuck into for the evening while travelling through Scotland. Everything was deadly although the shower didn’t seem to have much pressure running hot but I assumed it was for energy conservation.

Guest house is located very close to the Bridge and offers a nice view… There is an indian restaurant close by. There is co-op store as well where you can literally get everything you need for a comfortable stay :)

The Guest House is an unassuming place. At first glance it doesn't look like much, but the rooms are cozy and nice. It's self check-in/check-out, but there is a lobby/lounge area and one of the few places we stayed that had a microwave if you are in need. The rooms were stocked with nice breakfast items and heated bathrooms. We did stay in the off season, so dining was unfortunately limited around the area as most places were only open part of the week or closed early. Overall, a nice place tucked in Isle and easily driveable to plenty of locations.

Nice place to stay. Easy check in process. Nice rooms and bathroom. Good self catering in room breakfast cereals.

On arrival unable to get in as had not been given the code or room number.number on the door did not correspond with the number we had to ring.Rang twice before anyone answered Unable to use the shower as we had no hot water.rang numerous times and also emailed with no answer.Again emailed and rang in the morning with finally being answered and told to turn the middle nob to the left.Finally got some hot water but with the water just trickling.weve travelled all the way from London,and this was the worst service we,d got.we booked by email and when we arrived and saw the outside we were very dissappointed.when we pay for a room here in scotland,and as were from Australia the cost of the room is double.your service at answering your phone and email messages were very poor.

Beautiful old guesthouse located across the sky bridge. The hosts were lovely and informative and the route rooms came stocked with food drinks, and a fridge.

Was a nice place. Didn’t really like that we never saw any staff. Felt a bit empty. Had issues with electricity and although management resolved once we messaged them, we were a bit uncertain what to do. Happened in the middle of the night and waited until morning to contact them. Just our preference i guess cold feeling. Room was quite small and window was extremely difficult to open.

Beautiful property hidden behind tall hedges, with a nice variety of birds in the garden. The parking is ample, the bed is comfortable and clean, snacks are provided. However on the isle be warned that you must make all your dinner reservations in advance. This year is tough for restaurant staff capacity and we could not find seating for two in two villages nearby.
